About 3 weeks ago oil was at $62, futures have hit $115 $120

Here is a quick summary from Claude.ai of the impact of the spike in oil prices.

Key Economic Impacts

Inflation & Consumer Costs: The national average U.S. gas price reached $3.41 per gallon on Saturday, rising $0.43 in just one week. Al Jazeera That pace, if sustained, filters rapidly into transportation, food, and manufacturing costs across the entire economy.

Stagflation Risk: The combination of a weak economy and high inflation is a worst-case scenario for investors because the Federal Reserve has no good tool to fix both problems simultaneously. Lower interest rates can boost the economy but also make inflation worse — and the Fed's hands may be increasingly tied as spiking oil prices push inflation higher. NPR A negative jobs number combined with a big jump in oil prices has traders worrying about stagflation risks. NPR

Stock Markets: The S&P 500 dropped 1.3% Friday after a report showed U.S. employers cut more jobs than they created last month, capping Wall Street's worst week since October. NPR

Supply Chain Disruption: Oil and gas storage in Gulf facilities is rapidly filling, forcing oilfields in Iraq and Kuwait to cut production, with the UAE likely to follow. Oilfields forced to shut in could take days, weeks, or months to return to normal output even after the conflict ends. Al Jazeera

Potential Worst Case: Qatar's energy minister told the Financial Times that crude prices could reach $150 a barrel if tankers remain unable to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, which could "bring down the economies of the world." CNBC

The Bottom Line

The global economy is facing a classic oil shock scenario — supply disruption driven by geopolitical conflict rather than demand fundamentals. The longer the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, the deeper the impact on global trade, inflation, and growth. Analysts say if oil prices spike to $100+ and stay there, it could be too much for the global economy to withstand. NPR We're already there.
In March 1974, a barrel of oil was 3.5 times higher than at the start of 1973. The world survived, as you might have noticed.

Doesn't matter. We can freely preach Christ and His Gospel.......Unlike any other nation on this planet.

Something ain't working cause Christianity is not on the rise in the USA.

You know where Christianity has risen is in Iran.....

Iran is currently experiencing a rapid, quiet, and largely underground growth in its Christian population, with many sources calling it one of the fastest-growing Christian movements in the world
Despite Christianity being strictly controlled and often persecuted the number of believers—many of whom are converts from Islam—has risen from roughly 500 in 1979 to estimates of over 1 million by 2025–2026.

Sheesh, exaggerate why don't you. I live in Australia. We have zero restrictions on preaching. People are still preaching the gospel in the UK, even though the government is pretty much controlled by Muslims.
This is the key. The Lord Jesus Christ always has a nation that can freely preach His Gospel. If the United States puts laws or sanctions against His Gospel, look for another nation being raised up to freely preach His Gospel.

If another nation is not raised up.............Look for the end.
There are two problems. The first is the decline of the church in the Western world. The second is the consequence of the first. Islam is filling the void left by the decline of Christianity. However, as Christians wake up and intercede, God is moving. Even Saudi Arabia has made concessions to the very few believers there, one of whom was bold enough to question the state's prohibitions on Christians. That man now walks the streets with a Bible in his hand, unheard of not long ago.

This is one of the reasons that I'm pre trib rapture. When believers are taken up, there will be no one to intercede and restrain the lawless one. Until then, God's people are still the real authority on the earth. If only more believers saw that and exercised their authority.

Yeah, America is working on their quiet and underground network. Get rid of the iron hand and the poor folks can be loud and ABOVE ground.

Who cares? Canada has just as many heretics as America.

But I saw pastors going to jail in Canada for their drag queen protests. And Going to jail for their support of the freedom truckers in Canada.

America Is free to preach. Canada is free to go to jail if you preach freedom.

There are so many countries where you can preach the Gospel freely, Italy, Japan, Canada, most of Europe, South Africa, most of South America.

It's hard to believe you're this uninformed. Nigeria, Philippines, Congo, Mexico, S. America, etc. are a just a few
It's hard to believe that you only speak of what you are allowed to speak.........And you don't even see the restrictions.

Good luck you guys. And The Iran thing is going to work........for the benefit of Iran and for the benefit of the world. Sad that you only want failure.

Nah, We need to fight for these folks. They have been under the iron thumb for far too long. We need to act quick and decisively so the people of Iran can put their slippers on and vote what they want.

America is the only country with the balls to do it. Or at least try.
There is no way this works if they don't want it themselves bad enough to fight for it.

Yes, if that were the only factor. The 1970s were the height of our economy. We did not have a $38 trillion debt, and we were not on the verge of WW3.

They want it. And would fight for it. The Dems and RINOS don't give a rats behind.......They just want failure.

Give Iranians A chance at freedom? NO WAY, Trump would get another win.

America is not the only nation in the world. Destroying Iran's regime and kicking Putin out of Ukraine will promote world peace, not destroy it. It may well be the calm before the storm, but for now I'm not looking for my umbrella. This could be the time of "peace and safety" referenced in 1 Thessalonians 5:3. Prophecy describes a "golden age" of Israel prosperity and power. Once more (they have form), Israel will get complacent and forget God. The church will be taken up and Israel's spiritual shield will be removed. The Antichrist will take advantage of that big time.

Am I right? I don't know for sure. It seems to be according to God's word. Not everyone agrees.
