A clear example of OT Prophecy Disorder, ie., a fetish of inordinate fixation on finding future fulfillments of OT prophecies that were given to Israel and fulfilled millenia ago. A real spiritual disease of the heart and mind that is born of unbelief and that dishonors God by not glorifying him for his faithfulness for having brought his words to pass.
There is not just one day of the lord in the bible. There are numerous that were specific to their particular day and time. Virtually every instance of that phrase in OT prophecies says "a day of the lord" rather than "the day of the lord"
