Exactly!!!

Ultimately it is also a denial of the completed work of Christ Jesus.

The "fiery trial" of 1 Peter wasn't a global apocalypse. It was the AD 70 fire dismantling the Old Covenant shadows. The elements melted so the New Covenant could remain.

And how about this!!

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Romans 2:29
Rambling bafflegab does little to affirm your position.

Let us not be dragged back into the shadows of unfulfilled prophecy and religious toil?
Darbyism needs to go away... all it has brought is death and destruction.

This eschatology business waaaaayy past your pay grade. And @HeIsHere too.
For most it is just too "complicated". So they dumb it way down and then offer a few nonchalant snippets as proof.

However, decades of intense study always yields the same result:
Premillennialism and futurism (so called) is the only correct solution.

All prophecies satisfied perfectly, no loose ends, no paradoxes.

Oh and BTW, Israel (the Nation) has been reconstituted, and Israelites (the Sons of Jacob) are back in the land. Ooooppss.

Sounds like Reformed Doctrine ... so very complicated, who can understand it!!!!

Amen! Kind of strange to talk with people who say it's all there in scripture, but then have to argue that Jesus didn't actually mean what He said, and that this bit of scripture was fulfilled in 1948, and that another bit was referring to a holocaust several years prior of a group of people much like the Pharisees but who for some reason were God's people, even though they didn't accept Jesus... No mention of 1948 or Holocausts or futuristic Pharisees in the actual bible. Maybe it's all in the Scofield bible, and that's why they say its beyond us simple folk.

If the center of the Jewish world had already been destroyed, it’s hard to believe no NT book would mention it. -
There wasn't a NT book made about it after-the- fact; so, it obviously wasn't that important.

This is nonsense. The "elements" are not the temple; and the temple is not even the earthy token of the OC shadows, it is the Ark of the Covenant, which was not in the temple when it was destroyed.

It's not. "All" means "all". If Jesus had said "Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until this one thing has happened". Then yes. But He didn't. He said all these things, and he meant all those things. If you believe Him.
Look man, the following has already been posted DOZENS of times, with no sensible reply from the preterists.
The tragically ignorant preterist and historicist position can be so thoroughly and effortlessly debunked its always shocking to me why it persists at all.

But, I have come to understand that people CHOOSE "the lie" and then deny the promised reconstitution and redemption of Israel. I could post endless pages of Scripture as proofs.

None of this happened in 70.0001 AD.

Mat 24:29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mat 24:30
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mat 24:31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Simple is one thing. Willfully ignorant is quite another.

I will just go with what Christ Jesus stated because He knew what was coming.

They refuse proper hermeneutics, that is the barrier. The dispensational “literal interpretation” is not a neutral, consistent method.

Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 cosmic signs passages that speak of the sun darkening, moon not giving light, stars falling, heavens shaken, classic dispensational futurists take these literally as future physical events.

Yet when the same language appears in Old Testament judgments (Isaiah 13 against Babylon, Isaiah 34 against Edom, Ezekiel 32 against Egypt), dispensationalists often treat it as figurative language.

It is a theologically driven rule that is enforced rigidly only when it supports dispensational conclusions, and quietly relaxed when it does not!

Think Jewish when it comes to Matthew 24:3 and the end of the age and it was in 536ad. In the midst of the week the messiah will be cut off(3.5 thousand years into the 7 1000 year days) which leaves 500 years and brings it to 536ad when the sun did not shine and the old kingdoms fell apart and the next age began. https://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/2-4.htm

Ye - present, the audience hearing at that time and place
Ye - future aka the "prophetic you". A common and necessary usage as I have already proved many time.

You have no answer.

Luk 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, ***Ye*** shall not see me, until the time come when ***ye*** shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Well seeing as the universe was not destroyed in 70 AD, let s get our briefing from our generals about the topic at hand. The IRGC cult is on the ropes and has to use cardboard cutouts for their leader's official speeches. Looks like Iran will soon be free, hold steady valiant heroes and be blessed, praise Jesus.

This. You don't know what happened in 70AD, or how bad it was. You would sooner reinterpret the words of Christ than accept what He clearly stated.

I also know what the pagans say about that time era too. None of it correlates to the greatest book ever written, Revelation, but Tacitus and Suetonius are fun reads.

I am convinced this is like an adrenaline rush for people...over and over again.

If it is 100% then that means this will go nuclear if they are able. These guys are scarface making a last stand and they will fire everything they have.
So far, Iran has not been able to produce a nuke. Their "impregnable" development sites were destroyed June last year. However, they removed 400 kg (by Iran's admission) from the sites before the bombs fell. It is relatively easy to enrich the uranium to weapons grade. Even a crude "dirty" bomb could make, for example, New York harbour a no go zone for hundreds of years. A properly constructed bomb could destroy Washington, Tel Aviv or any other major city that Iran chose.

That is not the only potential threat. There are reports that Iran is seeking nukes from Pakistan or North Korea. It would not be easy, but also not impossible to ship one to Iran. And it's much harder now that there is war.

Iran was also developing the missiles that could be used to attack America and Israel. I rest easier knowing that something is being done to stop Iran's psychotic behaviour. I'll sleep even better when the Islamic regime is dead and buried.
