Imagine saying that to parents whose son or daughter died in one of these imperialist wars, how glib.

Yeah, is was never about protecting "freedom" "regime change" etc., those tethered to reality know this.

Always like the gap here and the gap there theory, I mean really.

I seriously cannot believe I fell for that nonsense as a young Christian....... but I guess they knew constant repetition was how to make

it stick, that is why there was always so many books/movies/tv shows flooding the market to inculcate the naive and uninformed.:(

Great example of someone who doesn't know the word of God.

1. Abraham's children are as the stars of the heaven (Christians) and the sand of the seashore (Jews)

There is a dichotomy to this covenant.

2. In the covenant, in the law of Moses, we are told specifically what happens if they reject the Messiah. The covenant doesn't say they will be "finished", "obsolete", etc. It says they will be punished, banished, scattered, to learn their lesson. The law is very specific as to how long this punishment will be and Ezekiel shares on this point telling us how long it will be before Judah and Israel are joined as two sticks tied together. If you study the time frame given by Ezekiel and compare it with the law of Moses the only year that both Judah and Israel could be joined together would be 1948. This has been clearly shown in several posts and links in my blog about the rapture, but sadly, too many Christians don't know the word of God.

Ezekiel also tells us that when they do return to the Land of Israel it will be like dry bones coming up out of the graves, a perfect picture of what it looked like when the Jews left the holocaust and headed for Israel.

And every calculation has to factor in all these additional times and months and factors, and oh-so-elaborate excuses for each one, and swap between calendars etc. to get in the ballpark of the end result they're seeking. :LOL:

Would you prefer to have the children learning in school when the US double-bombs them, to actively working against the invaders which seeks their deaths?

I don't support slavery by any government (US or Iran), but given the US government hasn't explained its school bombing yet and no one has faced court martial or punishment given this Nazi-level war crime, giving Iranian children the option to fight against their attackers makes sense to me.

Actually, the perfect picture is the resurrection in which dry bones actually will live again. Your interpretation is lame in comparison.

Understand that this "fulfilling it" is a PROCESS. And quite a lengthy and complicated process.
Can your mind actually grasp this? That the entire complement of these prophetic requirements that must be fulfilled is epic in quantity and magnitude? Your bible tweet soteriology falls embarrassingly short.

Oh and before I forget, the Old Covenant was about KEEPING THE LAND.....

Not getting it to begin with. Obtaining the land grant was a SEPARATE, inviolable unconditional perpetual covenant given to Abraham.

Your posts in this matter are yet another example of tragic and unnecessary Biblical illiteracy.

The time of restoration is the resurrection when Christ returns to earth to restore the kingdom. The preceding verse to the one you quoted specifically states that the restoration will come from Christ's presence. And a subsequent verse states that those who reject him, don't get a "timeout", but are destroyed

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of recovery shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Acts 3:19-23​

It was about remaining in the land that God promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It was never promised to Israel, and they never owned it. God owned it and they were guests and resident aliens in the land with him; who were subject to the rental agreement, ie, the old covenant. Can't sell what you don't own.

And the land shall not be sold into perpetuity , for the land is mine, for you are guests and resident aliens with me. Leviticus 25:23​
