If course not. Satan, Judas, the Jewish leaders, Herod and the people were fully in control of their OWN will in the matter of the crucifixion. They ALL did according to their OWN will and diabolical schemes.

The LXX doesn't have "eternal father" in this verse, so I'll go with that because it aligns with everything else in scripture. I'm not denying that the fullness of God dwelt in him, but he wasn't, and isn't the father.
They support a gap, but only Hosea 6 tells us specifically that the Lord is going to leave and He will return at the end of 2 days, and Peter tells us that a thousand years is as one day to the Lord. This gives us a powerful Biblical basis to say that no only will there be a gap from the ascension to the Lord's return, but it will be 2,000 years.
You should quit claiming what Jesus says is a lie. Read this post below...
Don't hold your breath
If he apologizes and other members of his religious social club find out about it he'll get the left foot of fellowship by all his religious buddies so he won't be welcome any longer as his member ship in his religious social club will be revoked.
Sadly some people put more value in what people think and believe rather then what the Lord says and so they continue floating downstream with all the other dead fish.

You are comparing John 10:18 And the AUTHORITY of Jesus Christ and a mere human "receiving" something....Apples and oranges.
You are bringing Christ down to a mere mortal plane or raising yourself to the AUTHORITY of Christ.

Who would have thought that mingling politics and religion would mean that Christian's would then disagree on when and how prophecy was fulfilled. Some feel it's already fulfilled, others that it's being fulfilled at this time. Some see the POTUS fulfilling Scripture and others do not. And based on the religious belief in the POTUS mind the soldiers stay or the soldiers go.
I've never seen anyone butcher a verse of scripture like that before, and I thought I'd seen it all.
I guess it's true what they say, you can twist the meaning of any scripture and make it say whatever you want it to say. You approach the Bible with your mind already made up about everything, so you can't learn anything from the bible, since you already know everything there is to know about it.
