Nonsense dispensational skatology

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17
ROFL. Thanks. Those are Israelites. No doubt about it.
Do you every give the correct answer? Seriously, you are literally batting zero around here.
Truly, this is awful to behold.

Gen 37:9
And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Gen 37:10
And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

1. The link to Genesis 37 (Joseph’s dream)

In Genesis 37:9–11, Joseph has a dream:

  • Sun = Jacob (Israel)
  • Moon = Rachel (or Leah/Rachel representing the matriarchs)
  • Stars = the twelve tribes of Israel

This imagery is the main reason many interpreters see the “woman clothed with the sun” in Revelation 12 as Israel.

2. Revelation 12:1–2 imagery matches Israel symbolism

Revelation 12 describes:

  • Woman clothed with the sun
  • Moon under her feet
  • Crown of twelve stars

That lines up very naturally with:

  • Patriarchs + matriarchs + 12 tribes → Israel as a covenant people

So in this framework:

  • The woman = Israel in its covenant identity

3. The child she gives birth to

The woman gives birth to a male child who:

  • rules the nations with a rod of iron (Rev 12:5)

This is widely understood as:

  • Jesus (Messiah), who comes from Israel according to the flesh

That strengthens the “Israel as mother of Messiah” reading.

4. The “remnant of her seed” (Rev 12:17)

If the woman = Israel, then “her seed” means:

  • ethnic Israel as a continuing people, but specifically:
    • faithful Israelites (a “remnant” theme found in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Romans 9–11)
  • AND also those who align with the Messiah (since the verse immediately adds):
    • “keep the commandments of God”
    • “have the testimony of Jesus”

So the “remnant” becomes:

  • all Israel ethnically

It's becoming pretty obvious that the fixation on modern Israel is an implicit denial of Christ
It an obvious fact that the replacement theology crew are biblically illiterate to such an extreme that one can only describe the phenomenon as "blindness".

But then again, this is to be expected of those who despise and deny our elder brother Israel.

Christ is our elder brother and we don't despise anyone who has faith in Christ.

Ruling the nations with a rod of iron is based on spiritual victory, not ethnicity. This was said to what you call "the church"

And the one overcoming, and the one guarding my works unto the end, I will give to him authority over the nations. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels made of clay shall be broken; as I also have received from my father; Revelation 2:26-27

This imagery is the main reason many interpreters see the “woman clothed with the sun” in Revelation 12 as Israel.

The woman clothed with the sun (righteousness) and with the moon under her feet (has conquered the ruler of darkness) is heavenly Zion and Jerusalem

But you have come forward to mount Zion, and the city of the living God, heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels, Hebrews 12:22

The utter dissolution and final extermination of God's eternally beloved brethren the Sons of Jacob are a recurring fantasy of the replacement theology crew.

Satan likewise.

Sadly this is true.

Most of these folks vote liberal as well. Weird.

Such a drama queen you are. God hasn't cast away his people whom he foreknew.

God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, Romans 11:2

Those whom he foreknew are the believing election

What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded Romans 11:7

The believing election are beloved by God, whereas those who disbelieve the gospel are not the election and are his enemies

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. Romans 11:28

This Was Trump's Final Warning... NOW IRAN is FINISHED

If anyone watches the links I post besides me you will notice that Canadian Prepper is extremely skeptical and pessimistic while Cash Jordan is a huge cheerleader and optimistic. I think anyone who studies Bible prophecy is very skeptical when people are saying Peace and Security.

That said, investors have responded in a huge way, oil is now trading as low as $81 a barrel today, down from $121 a barrel a few days ago.

I have posted a variety of links from those talking about "2nd Passover" and "2nd Exodus". Think of this as a second chance for those who rejected Jesus right up until the rapture.

An absurd interpretation not in any way supported by anything other than your yearnings for replacement theology to be true.
Which it most certainly is not.

Oh and BTW, the book of Hebrews is written to......Hebrews.

Yes it is, and we get to take hold of their skirt and learn from them. Thank God for another OT prophecy that has been and is being fulfilled every day.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. Zechariah 8:23

Understand this:

Jesus Messiah "came" for the lost sheep of the house of.....***ISRAEL*** the first time. He was rejected by the nation.
He just happened to incidentally marry a gentile bride along the way.

Jesus Messiah will come again (the second coming) for....***ISRAEL***, this to fulfill all covenants, promises and prophecy.
This SECOND time He will NOT be rejected. And He will just happen to save a lot of gentile tribulation saints along the way.

Oh, and He will just happen to harpazo His gentile Bride before it all goes down.

Israel is FIRST. Never forget it. The whole universe will never forget it after it happens this I can guarantee you.

He was rejected by the non-believing non-elect of Israel, but was received by the believing elect of Israel, who became the Israel of God, his holy nation. AS Paul said, not all Israel is Israel

Mmm yes, they seem to be trying to take over a CC. I wonder where CC stands on the question of Israel.
