I do not usually respond to these "human shield" arguments, because I understand them to be self defeating.
Have you responded Israel fighting a seven front war? Are you addressing one and ignoring the other six? You mean hiding behind women and children. Putting them at risk by setting up shop in schools and hospitals. Making them targets. Also using little boys and some little girls as human mine sweepers with their bodies and giving them keys to heaven prior to sending them off to be blown up.
The fact that they are used already shows that the IDF is running low on moral talking points.
Right right it is all Israel's fault. Blame the Jews for the gas ovens WW2.
You repeat them often, so I will now respond.
Lets try a more logical and less emotional approach.
Facts do not care about emotions and we can logically build gas ovens to gas Jews.
Consider that you are a ordinary dad in Southern Lebanon, but your village is being carpet bombed.
Your instinct is to defend your family home and now that Hezbollah is in the area you have access to pretty good weapons.
So you are now in Israel's eyes a terrorist militant.
Would you bother to wave a Hezbollah flag just so the enemy will not call you a "coward"?
They are cowards and watch Glory, the movie, how they carried flags to their death and did not hide behind women and children.
They are already in your country with tanks and planes.
They obviously do not wish to die either and you owe them nothing.

Now lets consider the Israeli perspective.
Lets say that you want to take out Hezbollah operatives but you genuinely wish to save civilians.
Would you be using bombs and missiles in crowded places, or would you consider other options?
How about Mossad agents in Lebanon? Selling RFID tagged Hezbollah uniforms? Satellite surveillance and small drones? Poison food in army supply lines?
I am not going to look up all your claims on my night off because there is a lot of misinfo out there and Hamas, Hezbollah discredits themselves when they resort to such tactics as this, and if you vote in the Nazis, then you get what you got. It is not impossible for Palestinians to peacefully coexist and prosper in Israel.

Iran has engaged multiple countries and caused widespread damage in their defense effort.
Defense against what? They can have peace with Israel. They do not want it. Besides, the Bible predicts the enemies of Israel will be destroyed.
Use your trusted sources to find out how many civilians they have killed.
Ignoring population differences? Multiple wives in Muslim sects with multiple children?
Now compare that number to Israels civilian victims.
Back to when? How bout 1935? Was it 6 million Jews, including helpless women and children? The Mufti, the muslim 13th Waffen Mountain Division or the SS. 21st Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Skanderbeg. .
Israels objectives are not what you have been led to believe.
The "Greater Israel" badge on the IDF uniforms should tell you that much.
Overall one of the better posts i have read here.

As you were the first to mention Hamas using civilians as shields, the burden of proof lies with you.

As for any Palestinian narrative, Big Brother here at the Forum appears biased towards Israel.
I posted a lengthy piece on the Nakbar of 1948. The post went off for 'approval' and has not been seen since.
So, any fair discussion on the Israeli/Palestinian crises is not possible.
It isn’t when your bias is towards Terrorists, FOR Sure!

"The U.S. and Israel carried out an operation against Iran," then walked away and left your ally standing alone.

In the Middle East, we don't judge friends by speeches; we judge them by who stays when the missiles fly. A person who abandons an ally halfway and cuts deals behind their back is not someone you call in a crisis.
You will say it's about American interests. Fine. But others also have interests, and they have memories. You can call it "America's interests." We call it something else: leaving your friends in the storm.

Before asking, "Why don't they defend themselves?" remember that countries like Israel did and are still doing so alone.

And also remember that the UAE defended itself, struck back forcefully, and banned the Muslim Brotherhood. Many of your countries in the West did neither.

The lesson is simple. If you can leave your closest friend exposed today, why should anyone trust your promises tomorrow? Maybe it's time for the Middle East to start thinking about alternatives.

And yes, when Iran strikes again, don't assume the Middle East will dial Washington. People don't call someone who might leak information to Turkey or cut a deal with Tehran while their friends are still under fire.

I get that $300 billion is in Iran's interest, and recognizing Iran's control over the Strait is in their interest. What I don't get is what was the US interest? We spent a ton of money to bomb Iran, what have we gotten in return? I get that the damage to the oil market will cause a global depression and famine, but was that the goal for the US?
They don't get it right away like they are carrying themselves away with in their propaganda, but let them think it. They have to comply with their surrender on two very critical points, opening the Strait of Hormuz and ending their nuclear shia doomsday program and turning over and having their entire stockpile degraded in front of their eyes with the IAEA as witnesses.

Or they try to play games in which case not only do they not get that money, which frankly if their regime has been editted sufficiently enough they would be smart to unfreeze some assets with conditions to use to solve their water crises rather than pursue terrorism. But if they don't and try to mess around they will certainly get smote even harder in front of all eyes under Heaven. They must bend their necks into the iron yoke of heaven to survive, praise Jesus.

Oh Yes.
Aggressive mob aren't they?
Most countries have to get on with their neighbors to survive but "Israel" thinks it has the back-up of the American military and does not try.
Do you understand that whenever there is a war there is always many false stories around to shame the enemy or to rally troops against them?
Remember the "weapons of mass destruction"?
That was Israeli "intelligence".
We fought the war on Iraq for "Israel", and the Israeli death toll was zero.

Oh come on folks over the next ten years we cut 186-230 billion dollars from SNAP recipients, 500-536 billion dollars from Medicare and 600 billion - 1trillion dollars from Medicaid recipients with the Big Beautiful Bill and we gotta spend it somewhere so why not just take all that money and give it to Iran and tell all those moochers they are state sponsors of terrorism and call it a day.

Trump has more humanity and sense than you do

So you prefer that Mr Trump green lights the Iranian regime to kill 100,000 of its own citizens, after telling said citizens that they should revolt because the Cavalry is on the way. How humanitarian.

And Mr Trump, who knows nothing about the real world and warfare, condemns Israel for defending itself. So, Mr military expert, what would you do to end the continual attacks by Hezbollah?

I know that you are full of bitterness and resentment against Israel, but why do you have to push a false narrative about the Iraq war? It was not Israel who lied about WMD. It was expat Iraqis who wanted to get back in power after Saddam was removed. And Bush and Blair were happy to go in. So were the vast majority of Iraqis. The problem is the way that Rumsfeld dealt with the peace after the war. He refused to allow the American forces to restore proper order to the country. Unlike the way America and the allies rebuilt Germany and Japan, America failed miserably to restore order to Iraq.

America is great at winning wars, but has no clue as to how to win the peace.

I would be interested to see what you have on 1948 if you don't mind.

According to the latest reports, the $300 billion is fake news. It never made sense. While the "deal" is pathetic, Iran's nuclear ambitions suffered a severe setback because of the bombing. There was also the elimination of many who committed crimes against humanity. They got the martyrdom that they longed for. A good deal of Iran's military capability was destroyed.

I don't know why Mr Trump took the pressure off Iran. There may be something behind the scenes that forced his hand. One day, all will be made clear. For now, America looks weak, Mr Trump is once again "TACO", once again he negotiates conditions without including an affected party and once again abuses anyone who dares to disagree with him. And this is making America great?

I am going to sneak into Iran so I can hear the Gospel. Iran preaches, teaches the Gospel . No need to hide in a hole like we need to in THE USA.

SARCASM.
Iran is experiencing a massive revival. People are forsaking Islam. There were about 75,000 mosques a few years ago. About 50,000 have closed. Nick de Santo, an Iranian/Italian, is a UK based comedian. He jokes that he might return to Iran because there are fewer Muslims there than in London where he lives. It's funny because there is an element of truth.

It's only the repressive regime that makes Iran a dangerous place to live. The average Iranian is pro America (or was.....), pro Israel and pro democracy. It's a tragedy that Mr Trump failed to help bring down the regime. He should have said nothing rather than give Iranians false hope.

There is a lot of hype about antisemitism of late. Unfortunately, many equate criticism of the Israeli government and their actions as antisemitism which is very unfair. I have a great love for the people of Israel and the Palestinians as well. But I am not blind as to the faults and criminal actions of both parties.
However, the disproportionate response to the Hamas attack by Israel in Gaza cannot be allowed to go uncriticized but must be called out for what it is, genocide.

I agree there has been so much fake news around this thing and you have to blame Trump for that. He could have kept quiet, he could have said they would have a big announcement on Friday, he could have done many things but instead as usual he stokes the fires of fake news.

Also, the problem with Trump which is being called TACO is that he appears to bluff. I am sure the military told him that if he is going to go to war with Iran you have to put boots on the ground and likely the number would be in the hundreds of thousands. If that wasn't part of his plan he never should have played his game.

As for the US looking weak, it would be very hard for any president to make us look weaker than we did with Biden and Harris. I would say this doesn't make the US look weak as much as it makes Iran look strong. Still that is an existential threat to the US, to let Iran and BRICS alliance look strong, I don't think the US can survive as the reserve currency if this current agreement stands.
