Thank you brother for being diligent and unrelenting in presenting the truth of God's Word. I believe people came here to spread Antisemitism. They came here suddenly and started a gang here. I stated the same truths over and over again, with Scripture and they would gang up and shout me down with fake history and twisted Scriptures. You have given them a run for their money. (y)
"A run for their money".
Methinks something more akin to being tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail....😂

You have offered more bible doctrine and solid truth on this thread than all of the naysayers combined. It's funny to watch them swing with their one liners and never break down the doctrine being presented.

It's way out of their depth.

Thank you. Lots of truth presented in your posts.

Good grief man please ground yourself in the reality of the text.

Eze 38:8
After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Eze 38:14
Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

Eze 38:15
And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

Eze 38:16
And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Eze 38:17
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

The key earlier prophetic “proof text” is Joel 2:20, the prophecy of the “northern army”:

This passage connects this with Ezekiel 38–39 because Gog’s army also comes from the far north against Israel: Ezekiel says Gog comes from “the north parts” / “uttermost north” and is then supernaturally destroyed by God on the mountains of Israel. The “northern army” language in Joel is therefore taken as an earlier prophetic reference to the same invasion, or at least to the same northern invader motif.

A secondary supporting chain is the repeated prophetic theme of an end-time northern invader against Israel, for example:

Jeremiah 1:14–15 — “Out of the north an evil shall break forth…”
Jeremiah 6:22 — “a people cometh from the north country…”
Joel 2:20 — “the northern army” removed by God
Ezekiel 38:6, 15; 39:2 — Gog comes from the far north
Daniel 11:40–45 is sometimes discussed in the same northern-invasion orbit.

Ezekiel prophesied during a period of about 22 years, starting in 593 BC and concluding around 571 BC.
His prophecies included the destruction of Jerusalem in 587 BC.
Time markers in the passage like "in that day" or "in latter years" do not necessarily mean in the time of the final rebellion, although I agree that the context of the reference to Gog and Magog in Revelations 20 is indeed the last rebellion and final judgement.
I notice that in v.8 that the rebels are gathered from "the four quarters of the earth", while in Ezekiel 38:2 we see that Gog is the prince of Meshech and Tubal, Northern provinces that appear in Bible maps.

In Ezekiel 38:5 we see Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya listed as allies.
We also see in Chapters 38 and 39 that they used the weapons of their day.
It seems in the prediction that many of these armies did not reach their destination at all, ie v. 21 "... every man's sword shall be against his brother."
The rest did not achieve their goals, whether by the hand of the Israelites, or purely by the hand of God.
I am not convinced that those two chapters are speaking of one single battle, but consider that it may be a number of battles.
A clue for the timing of these battles:

Ezekiel 28:11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

It seems that these events happened during the early days after the return from Babylon, as the walls were not yet built.
The historian Josephus identified Magog with the Scythians (Antiquities 1.6.1), which linked the term to Eurasian steppe peoples.

FYI, the IRGC and Iranian supreme leaders heavily promote and believe these conspiracy theories about "fake Jews". Practically its the doctrinal engine that powers the regime.

IMO, lest they repent, those who do not recognize the Nation Israel for who they really are and why they have so suddenly "arrived" also suffer this πώρωσις "hardening, dullness, or spiritual insensibility" judgement.

It's not that denial makes any sense.....it doesn't. As you would suspect, it's a matter of believing Satan's lies in conjunction with hatred of Gods plan of salvation.

Gog and his armies won't be fighting with the weapons of Josephus time, they'll be fighting with the weapons of the last generation. There won't be nukes like some of then the dispensationalists really kinda get wrong sometimes thinking the end is too near now or not considering the full breadth of the direct text and the cataclysms which they correctly argue make preterism a joke, also basically are so hardcore that if technology as we know it exists by those times, well, it won't for long, just the first few seals alone will end the digital age with certainty you definitely will be back on horseback pretty quickly.

Really though Revelation 19 is the more obvious tie in to Ezekiel 38 and Ezekiel 39. The Second Coming of Christ a key element of the core essential Gospel that cannot be denied.

In a weird way their heretical digressions are loosely topical, after all the IRGC Cult is like islamic preterism on steroids. It's literally the Supreme Leader can legally as a matter of State enshrined authority do necromancy to talk with the Mahdi who is a boy the last in Ali's male lineage that died in the 800s AD but retro reconned to be just in "occultation' so the reason IRGC has their foreign policy is really just their own eschatological innovation to get him to come out of hiding to actually team up with the Jews and Christians and make them become shia muslim to then fight their way wrong misconception of Magog and Gog (Majuj and Juj) who will be led by Alexander the Great who also isn't actually dead but been sleeping I guess behind a brass wall in the Caucasus. Gotta give them a lil credit, Alexander is definitely more intimidating than Nero, but you know, in reality he kinda auspiciously died young in the palace of none other than Nebuchadnezzar where Daniel once saw the writing on the wall and praised Jesus.

Revelations 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

I have agreed with you that Rev. 20:8 is about the future.
It is the last rebellion before God creates a new heaven and a new earth in Rev. 21.
Unlike the Gog of Ezekiel 38 the rebellion here is global, although the rebels are motivated by the same spirit that motivated Gog the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (Ezekiel 38:3).
I do not speculate on the weapons used by the future rebels because Revelations does not mention them, however the weapons used by the historic rebels are mentioned.
Ezekiel 38:4 armour, shields, bucklers, swords. 38:15 "riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army". Ezekiel 39:3 Bow and arrows.
You get the idea.
In Ezekiel Gog is a person and Magog is a group of countries, while in Revelation Gog and Magog are similar manifestations of similar evil spirits.
Much like the fall of Babylon in Revelations 18.
This all happened long before Josephus, I only mentioned him because he recorded these events, and cv5 asked me for a historic record.

None of Revelation has happened yet. For that matter none of these events have even happened in secular history either, not even remotely close to it. Revelation is a prophecy about the second coming of Christ and the end of the universe and time itself. Revelation 19 clearly is the same event as Ezekiel 39. Revelation 19:18-21 and Ezekiel 39:17-20 also does state what weapons and level of technology they will have and directly parallel eachother. Revelation 20 is Gog and Satan's literal death and the end of the universe happens literally right after that at the Revelation of the Father's face (hence the title of the book). Obviously none of this happened yet since there is still a universe and the resurrection of which Jesus is the firstfruits and way of, and the great judgment day have not yet come to pass. Then the concluding chapters about the new heavens and new earth and new Jerusalem and the eternal reign of the kingdom of God might make some more sense out of Ezekiel's concluding chapters about that third temple.

Forsake the preterist heresy, go back to the Bible and just merely believe, praise Jesus.

Also Magog is a race you're right about that part, they're the race spawned off of the patriarch Magog son of Japheth all the way back in Genesis but that all is like a way other big subject and we've digressed enough.

Also Josephus only described the sack of Jerusalem in 70 AD, and also the second temple wasn't fully destroyed in 70 AD, and also the full deportation of the Jews from Judaea didn't happen until almost 70 years later under Hadrian (who also renamed the province to Palestina to insult the Jews and was also a homosexual hence my quip several hundred pages ago about how Hadrian is the first Queer for Palestine in history.) There is a sort of weird irony though in trying to justify hating modern Israel because one is rejecting and grossly misinterpreting and reinterpreting the words of those kindly uneducated jews like Peter and John that wrote the Bible, but yet somehow demanding a literal Pharisee like Josephus that tricked his countrymen into committing suicide and then selling them out to the Romans to be taken as the new gospel.

Ezekiel is in a refugee camp in the south of Babylon.
He is yearning for the Jerusalem that he has lost and for the temple that no longer exists.
Another generation will be born and grow before the second temple will be built.
Ezekiel looks over the river and sees a vision of a glorious temple, larger and more magnificent than the future second temple.
What he sees resembles not only the second temple, but something that could be of the new Jerusalem, Revelations 21.
If I wish to understand this in the way that God intends it to be understood I would not dare to look outside of the teachings of Jesus and the apostles or ignore the historical context in which it was given.
If I know for example, that Jesus was the final sacrifice for sin, how could I entertain a fantasy that God will delight in animal sacrifices in the future?
If I have been asked by Jesus to seek a heavenly kingdom, how can I get excited about a new earthly kingdom?
Does Rev. 21 allow for a physical building of a new temple by the hands of man?
Now that I have read John 4:10 and know that "living water" comes from Jesus, should I entertain the imagination that magical waters will flow out of a man made third temple, filling the dead sea with fish?
My point is that if we wish to look outside the framing of scripture our imaginations can take us almost anywhere with interpretations.
We can do this, but we miss out.

All interesting stuff.
I don't mind the digression.
I find it a lot more interesting than regurgitating propaganda and gossip.

Well is it too much of a spoiler to point out that the eternal city of New Jerusalem comes out of the Heavens to the new Earth? The Kingdom of God shall be established forever and without end the Father and the Son will reign in the midst of it with the faithful, praising Jesus.

To your overall point of wanting to understand the scriptures as God intends, that's why I already said you need to discard preterism heresy and these reinterpretations of the text and trying to allegorize away prophecy (which the apostles forewarn about unironically). Abandoning preterism because it is a heresy that is an automatic damnation sentence is pretty much mandatory (unless you wanna burn in hell for some reason.) Besides this these aren't requirements like that, but are recommendations but that are solid. Read the Bible cover to cover by itself, by yourself too. No commentaries, just read it as a book and believe. Believe even small if you need to, believe the story for at least the context of itself and that will alone basically solve most common misconceptions and issues on just the first readthrough. After studying the holy scriptures a good bit, then read and study and endeavor to understand the Three Ecumenical Creeds, chiefly the Athanasian Creed which completely identifies and correctly interprets the essential salvic pillars of the Christian religion and become a Christian. Praise Jesus.

Ultimate destiny; the past and future are out of our control, the only thing we can change is the present. Praise Jesus.

Jesus Christ a failure? Failure requires time and circumstances.
Jesus Messiah Kinsman Redeemer of Israel suffers to be constrained by neither, as He created both and is the impeccable master of them.

Rom 11:1
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Rom 11:25
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Rom 11:26
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

You may have some emotional attachment to this created dual track schedule first concocted by Lacunza, but if you think rationally it cannot be disputed that Paul was writing to his contemporaries about what was happening at that time.

Now if you want to treat scripture like a schedule and not use reasoning and logic regarding audience relevance that is your choice.

Until you abandon your faulty hermeneutic of plain interpretation as though it was written to you there is absolutely not proof in scripture that will suffice.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. It does not say “and to seeds,” as of many, but as of One, “and to your seed,” who is Christ.
Gal. 3:16

Now if you⁺ are of Christ, then you⁺ are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to promise.
Gal. 3:29

We are entering dangerous times when one is given a slur for trusting the inspired words of Paul inspired one Lord and Savior who clearly stated "it is finished"

Dangerous times indeed by those with in the walls of the church.

We can debate Iran around the clock, but the most important question still lingers. Will Trump put an end to this or will he continue to wiggle his way through this like a blind hen in a pen?

I guess the Iranians are rolling on the floor with laughter when now learning how ridiculously bad America and Europe are performing strategically.

Trump should have anchored the war both here and among our allies before striking Iran. He did not.

Well, we’ll see when gas prices rise like the creeks in Alaska in springtime.

Okay Galadriel, order your men to target Ejei and Radan.

Also don't make excuses for our fake allies, the only ally we have so far is Israel. Don't make us fix Britain again.
