Mr Trump should first not treat Putin as an equal. Mr Trump had the right idea when he threatened more sanctions. Now he has done a U-turn - again. I don't buy the idea that this is a strategy. Leaving Ukraine out of negotiations is absurd and has to be one of the great ego trips of this generation.

America should take up Ukraine's offer to buy arms. Ukraine drove Russia out of the Black Sea and grain has been flowing to the world again for some time. Money is coming into Ukraine. Ukraine finalised a mineral deal with America in May. That will help both America and Ukraine. Ukraine could easily become an arms exporter. It has proven to have exceptional skills in that realm.

If Russia takes over Ukraine, which is Putin's end game, Russia gets all the minerals, grain and military expertise. Ukraine built the world's largest aircraft. Ukraine designed and made the "Satan 1" nuclear ballistic missile. Ukraine is a buffer between Europe and Russia. Do what it takes to maintain that buffer is my suggestion.

If America is not willing to help defend Europe, it should quit NATO.

You should pray about all these things that are on your heart. You never know!

I'm not sure what 'U-turn' you meant, to be honest. He's put Sanctions on India regarding their purchase of Russian oil, he's threatened further sanctions. And if Ukraine is flush with cash, why were we giving so much aid? Hopefully that doesn't come across as an attack. I'm honestly curious. Oh, and remember Trump tried to stop the Nord Stream pipeline long before the invasion.

As to the last line... Are you calling for Turkey to quit NATO over not sanctioning Russia? Or Europe for their continued buying of oil and gas since 2022? America has spent gold from our empty reserves, I don't see us spending blood as well.

Mr Trump has vacillated with Russia. Not long ago, he was mad at Putin for attacking civilians. He one admired Zelensky for being strong then attacked him for starting the war, which is patently false. Mr Trump has earned himself the name "TACO", which means Trump Always Chickens Out, referring to Mr Trump's threats of punishing tariffs.

It seems to me that Mr Trump says things and makes decisions without considering either the facts or the consequences. This is a generalisation. His dealings with Israel are an exception. Perhaps Mike Huckabee is a good influence there. I am impressed with Mike Huckabee.

I do, every day without fail. And so do many others. Almost no one expected Ukraine to stand against Russia. I detest bullies. Putin is one of the worst. He will reap what he sows.

I'm actually not taking any sides. I understand both of their reasons for fighting this war.

I like the people of both sides, so I'm just praying that the gospel spreads to both sides and that people from those nations get saved.

We know a couple, she is Russian, he from Ukraine. You know what we do not talk about! The wife went to Russia earlier this year. He stayed home. They are Australian citizens but they do not trust the government. Russians have been lied to about the war. They believe Putin. They are not permitted to hear anything else. I do not believe the average Russian wanted the war. They are Putin's victims as much as Ukraine's casualties. The tragedy is that this need never have happened. Putin should have been driven back in 2013. Hitler got away with invading the Czechs and saw that as a green light to start WW2. Appeasement never works with dictators.
