Yes they were attaining righteousness ACCORDING to the flesh by purifying the outward man but they couldn’t purify the Inward man that GOD really wanted,only JESUS was able to fulfill the law perfectly the way that FATHER GOD would accept.

When the LORD comes back,all will be raised up,some to eternal damnation others to eternal life.

Yes, man’s soul was attached to his flesh. Through the circumcision of the new birth, the soul is cut away from the flesh and made a new creature in Christ.

That is right and Paul was instructed to go and preach to the lost sheep (children of God) of the house of Israel. Jacob is representative of God's elect family. God changed Jacob's name to be called Israel in Gen 32:28. Most of the time from that time on when Israel is referred to it is talking about Jacob and God's elect family. The bible was written by inspiration as instructions for God's elect family as to how God wants them to live their lives as they sojourn here in this world. That is why he instructs his preachers to spread the good news of the gospel to the lost (lost to the knowledge of the truth) sheep(God's children) of the household of Israel (kingdom of God's elect) informing them to deny themselves from going about to establish their own righteousness and come unto a knowledge of the truth seeking God's righteousness and obeying his commandments. God's children can be delivered (saved= delivered, in Greek) many times by their obedience to God's commandments as they live here in this world.

God knows his sheep (children) and they hear his voice. He calls them by their name and they hear his voice and all come. God has already regenerated them when he calls them that is why they hear his voice and come when he calls them.

God choose them, in covenant relationship, before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4). because he saw by his foreknowledge (Psalms 53:2-3) that none would seek (believe in him) no, not one. God then had his Son be a sacrifice for their sins, so that, (in covenant relationship) they would be holy and without blame before him in love. Christ's sacrifice was made to God, for God's acceptance, and not to man, for man's acceptance, They were all born into this world as sinners, by the nature of Adam, and sometime between their natural birth and their natural death, God regenerated them (Eph 2:5).

God's elect children can be delivered from the effects ( lost fellowship with God) each time that they repent from breaking God's commandments. They never lose their eternal salvation even though they lose their fellowship with God until they repent under the chastening rod of God. The chastening by God on his children is a form of love, just as it is when our natural father chastens us. God does not chasten those that he does not love (Psalms 73:5 - They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they PLAGUED = divinely punished, Greek interpretation). All that the Father loves he chastens and rebukes every son whom he receiveth.

Eph 2:5, Spiritually dead men have no ability to receive the gift of eternal life because they cannot discern the things of the Spirit (`1 Cor 2:14).

You still have them born again, made alive, while in sin.

The Holy Spirit was given at the time of regeneration and the natural man (1 Cor 2:14) did not have the ability to discern the things of the Spirit until he was regenerated (Eph 2:5).

The ONLY reason they would have failed to be granted eternal life. Was if Christ failed.

They had eternal life the moment they entrusted their lives to God just like we do. The only difference is, Christs work is done for us, it was still future for them.

You are making yourself to be your own savor by having to entrust your life to God. You were regenerated, not by entrusting your life to God, because you were spiritually dead in sins when you were regenerated by God (Eph 2:5). Your belief is a "salvation by works belief".

He can not quicken youu til you are justified. Otherwise, he quickens you in sin. And your alive under thrj penalty of sin.

We sre justified by faith.. apart from faith no justification, aprt from justification. NO QUICKENING

Yep he did,

But he still did not make you alive as long as you were under the penalty of sin, justification had to occure first.

You can post against this all you want, it will not change that fact

They didn't keep the law with their own strength. Who do you think gave them the law. It was Jesus Christ. It was with the strength of Jesus Christ that they were able to keep the law and they were considered blameless in the sight of the Lord. That means that because they kept the law, when Jesus was crucified and brought about the atonement, they were swept up in that saving process and were saved, even though they lived their entire lives under the law.
