​The man isthe spiritual leader of the family:
Eph 5, 23: For the husband is the head of thewife even as Christ is the head of the church
1.Tim 5, 8: If anyone has no care for hisfamily and those in his house, he has denied the faith and is worse than anunbeliever.
A man shouldlove and honor his wife. A man`s character can often be read in the face of hiswife. He should take the responsibility to clear the air before you go to bedevery night.
1.Pet 3, 7: In a similar way, you husbands mustlive with your wives in an understanding manner, as with a most delicatepartner. Honor them as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so thatnothing may interfere with your prayers.
A godly manis the solid rock of the family:
Prov 14, 26: Rock- solid security is found in thefear of the Lord, and within it one`s children find refuge.
The manshould take his responsibility together with his wife to bring up the childrenin the Lord.
Prov 22, 6: Train a child in the way he shouldgo; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Woman
:)She submits to her husband, at the same time she is an equal partner in the leadership of the family, but she has a different role than her husband. The husband submits to her gifts and anointing.
Eph 5, 21- 22: Submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord.
She is building the family.
Prov 14, 1: Every wise woman builds up her household, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands.
She is counselling the children and visitors.
Prov 31, 26: She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She is faithful and trustworthy.
Prov 31, 11: The heart of her husband safely trusts her.

The Roles: Both
There are many differences between men and women, and there are also individual differences.
Consider your differences- value the strengths you both have and help each other with all things.
The children need to find good examples in both parents, in the different phases in their lives.
1.Cor 4, 15- 16: You may have ten thousand teachers who work for the Messiah, but not many fathers (and mothers). For in the Messiah Jesus I became your father through the gospel. So I urge you to imitate me.
Good examples (“fathers” and “mothers”) are needed also for people in the church, all ages
