Romans 2: 16-
Verse 16. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
God shall judge. That day is coming, you can count on it. According to my Gospel. That would be the Gospel of Romans that was given to Paul by Jesus Christ. I do not thank Paul is taking created for what was given him by God to send to the church at Rome or us. His gospel is the gospel of good news, Why would you not want to repent when you fall short and have it erased from The Book of Life? There might be some out there that really do not believe and ask “will how do I know the word is true?” The word is true. Lets go back to nature it will teach you truth that which is wright and that which is wrong. You got two dogs at home and they get into a fight; you tell them to knock it off; they stop then what do they do. They kiss and make up. They sat I am sorry I got to ruff. We slip we mess up and God will put that little voice in your head that says “That was not right” we need to stop and Say “Father forgive me and help me do better as I move on”. God has sent us this gospel to help us understand His forgiveness. Without that we will fall into the apostasy that is coming in these end times that we live in today. This keeps you free indeed.
Verse 17. Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
You could do that if you wanted to and you were an Israelite, and say God gave us the law and we have the covenant and so on and so forth.
Verse 18. And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
Your being taught, you know what God expects. When you know what God expects, that elevates you to a place of judgment, and you are held accountable in that.
Verse 19. And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
If you are not real careful you can consider yourself, as some kind of leader, when really you can not lead yourself much less anyone else. Christ is our leader He is the head of the body (church)and He is our light. You can and should reflect that light. How careful you must be if you set yourself up to be a guide to the blind. That means that you set yourself up as being someone that knows not the truth into the light of Christ into the gospel of the Living God. You then take on the responsibility of being a spiritual parent and must help that person grow. It is a big responsibility, it brings joy to to all involved as you watch them learn and grow. If you ar not careful you will end up like the instructor in verse 20.
Verse 20. An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
If you are no careful all you will have is the ability to be an instructor of the foolish;( Lets look at the meaning of this word foolish in the Greek. #878 Mindless, ie stupid, by implication ignorant without knowledge or understanding of a subject. Rash or unbelieving unwise). A teacher of babes This would be like the teachers Paul would describe in 1st Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. Why was it like this? 2: I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. There teachers had not trained them up right. There teachers had no understanding. Hebrews 5 Warning against Drifting Away 11Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
The word form here#3444 in the Greek Strong's concordance is morphe. It is something fake. They set themselves up as teachers, pastors, ministers, etc. but they are fakes. They take what the church Pastoral collage told them was truth and then they preach it, they bring forth that word that has the form of knowledge but when it comes down to where the rubber meets the road there is no meat there. You are lucky to get a little warm milk.
2nd Timothy 2:
14Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
