oops sorry, was sending this and got mixed up, thought i had deleted the error.:)

The story about Ron Jeremy was one I saw at that time, seems like a life wasted.

I had no idea that Ron Jeremy's health was failing. I haven't heard about him in years. I wish him well. I used to think when I was young he was a lucky guy. I used to think I wanted to live like Charlie Sheen also. I never did any drugs and barely drank, I just wanted to chase after women. Now that I'm a middle aged man I'm glad I didn't live like that. I'm glad I became a man of faith instead of some playboy. Now that it looks like Ron Jeremy is at the end of his life, I wonder if he has any regrets? I know I would.

No it isn't "fine".
Our model for comparison is Jesus, not a porn actor.
This is another way many miss the mark.
best wishes

"Then He said to the disciples, 'It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.' " Luke 17:1-2

I'll tell you where my compassion lies: with the "little ones" who have been led astray by the likes of Ron Jeremy. I'm sure God has given him plenty of opportunities in his life to repent but he preferred drugs, sex, money and whatever other earthly benefits he derived from the porn industry. Now he's losing his mind. Could God work a miracle and still save him? Of course; but more than likely it's too late for Jeremy.

I'll tell you how people miss the mark: that's when a so-called Christian posts about someone like Jeremy and acts like he deserves our sympathy. How 'bout a little sympathy for all the people he's helped corrupt? Your post is very telling about your spiritual condition. I'd think twice before you have the nerve to tell me again I'm not a Christian.

One of the first things that is evidence of right faith - the words "I", " me", "mine" are no longer in the vocabulary.
A true believer is no longer focused on themselves saying "my compassion" and such.
That is how you show yourself to be missing the mark by your posts.

Ha ha, you lecturing me on right faith. That's rich.

Said the man who fails to walk in genuine faith.
There was no "lecturing", there WAS a posting of truth from scripture.
Your rejection of scriptural truth is your choice.:)(y):coffee:

Said the man who feels sorry for porn actors who lead countless people to Hell.

I wish Ron Jeremy well. I don't want anyone to suffer. I hope God restores health to him. I know people might not like him because he was a pornstar, but I see him as a human being who should be given some compassion.

I truly do not understand this love fest for a porn actor. Why? Because he's some kind of "star?" If you want to have compassion for him go right ahead. I have more compassion for all the people he's harmed. Stop and think about all the damage he and others like him have done: to men and to women; to families; to children; to society. Yeah let's all feel sorry for him.
