I think ill trust the word of God, it will go nuclear, the US will be taken out and Russia will be defeated when they attack Israel

I heard the translation of that speech too. It was the most humbling speech I've ever heard him make.
We live in serious times indeed.
Many of our parents or grandparents made shelters in order to survive a potential strike from Russia during the cold war. I've talked to acquaintances who mocked what they did as if it could never happen. That is an entire generation that trusts the idols of politicians. My oldest teacher taught us about that threat in social studies class 7th grade. I'm glad that he did. I'm glad that my Dad shared wisdom with me too..... especially my Dad. I've been extremely blessed that God gave me such a good Dad and role model. Of course Jesus is the ultimate one to imitate...."looking into Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith. "
I do not trust Biden's brain to realize that and who knows what Putin is thinking. The bottom line is that Russia has built a huge underground city under the Ural mountains and they have built supersonic missiles that no one can stop, why waste all that money if you have no intention of using it?

I read this great book (kind of like a comic book) about this old couple who followed all the instructions to the t. They lined their attic with aluminum foil, put enough food and water for two months, and they rode it out. When they got out of the house the whole place was a nuclear winter with radioactive dust and fallout. Slowly they got cancer and died in the rubble. Kind of grim, but made you realize there is only one name given to men by which we may be saved.
There is a thriving industry building fallout shelters these days. People are beginning to take the nuclear threat seriously again.
There is a big spike in "billionaire bunkers" and they have been building them for 20 years. The book of revelation says they will hide themselves underground for the day of the Lord's wrath.
This is true. I think it's a small percentage compared to the previous generation who would build root cellars and such multipurpose rooms. I've seen those online. Joel Skousin has a lot of good information on safe places to live.
Honestly, I think Russia's cabinet or whatever they're called there, will tolerate Putin for so long. However, when he starts the nuke threat they or we will take him out.

Apparently, Putin is not liking the resistance from Ukraine. And He is losing face. Now he is going to raise the threat to a higher level. This will most likely be met with China helping by destabilizing with attempt in Taiwan
Not so it's obvious though because that would open a whole new can of worms. Rather, they'll make it appear as a sudden illness. Or, if we remember when he was reported I'll some time ago, they'll claim unforseen complications set in.
No one wants the nuclear option to enter into this proxy war.
I will say the one positive I take from this proxy war and especially so close to the 2024 election and after Trump announced his intent to run, barring 'they' don't end him as supposedly they did his ex when she was going to defend him before the Jan. 6 circus committee, is the claim of the Left that Trump was Putin's puppet is put to rest utterly.
While it is public knowledge that Obama, HRC, WJC, and Biden, did indeed have a close relationship with Putin.
If Trump was his puppet Putin would have attacked Ukraine then. Not now when Biden is sitting in the chair Trump actually did win before the election was manipulated otherwise.
Biden is there because all this now was planned. And the real powers behind the Oval office knew Trump would never let it happen.
The fear of radioactivity is exaggerated. Hydrogen bombs are relatively clean. If you survive the first few weeks, you will be ok.
The real problem is if a bomb hits the ground, which is not how they are usually deployed. If dirt particles are irradiated, yes, fallout is a problem. Radiation sickness can be treated if the dose is low enough and any medical treatment facilities survive the blast. The best shelters are underground. The soil protects from radiation.
So yes, it is possible to survive a nuclear attack. There will not be much to look forward to and life would be hell on earth.
By the way, I was responsible for nuclear defence on my ship. If we survived a blast, we would be able to decontaminate and continue to fight. In theory, anyway. I'm glad we never had to demonstrate that capability.
