The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
He sure did give Moses the law to give as a curse to those who would not submit to Him through faith (only God can keep the law or those with the Spirit of God ( The Holy Spirit, the LORD the giver of life) in them. Moses received the law while the children of Israel led by Aaron were forging a golden calf and worshiping it, just like their children observe the ordinances given to them today. They are unwilling to submit to Christ and His perfect law of faith working by love but Moses lived by faith not law keeping get that straight.
Amos 5:25
Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
For our aim is not to obey the Law but to be pleasing to Him
I present a conundrum by invoking the above statement. If one does not obey this following law they cannot please God. If one is pleasing God they are obeying this Torah/law. Both Old and New Testaments concur one with another without separation. It is impossible to separate this spiritual truth.

Circumcision was the confirmation of the covenant with Abraham and his seed.
"This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised." Genesis 17:10
"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;" Ephesians 2:11

Circumcising the foreskin of the heart is New Testamant doctrine and also first endorsed by the Torah give to Moses. How Ironic.

Dude you bring nothing to offer to any discussion we are having here, do you not get that?
I agree that the works of the law minus faith means nothing, but I also believe they work together as one in the faithful believer just as God is One with Christ.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16
As I mentioned before, the only scripture available before the New Testamnt scripture was available in writing was what we know as the Old Testamant. Here, obviously Timothy, Paul being his mentor, is referring to what scripture was in print or writing at that time. That is the Old Testament as we know including the law given to Moses. I think he makes it clear about ALL scripture.

Ok so just for a quick referene. Yeshua Himself the sabbath was made for man, man was not made for the sabbath. So if it was made for man why would we not observe a day that was made for us? We were given this day as a day of rest, and their is nothing wrong with observing it.
And before someone goes into the pretext of what is said before that verse, yes I know the pharisees snapped at Yeshua and the disciples for collecting grain on to eat on sabbath. Yeshua's reply is stating just because it's sabbath, does not mean you have to fast or starve. If it's sabbath and you're hungry go make yourself some food.
But anyway again. Yeshua said it was a day made for man. That is one of the main reasons I observe sabbath, G-d made it a day of rest for me, you, and everyone else.

i'm going to disengage from this unfruitful conversation and turn to prayer,.......May God through Christ Jesus show all of us here His perfect will and lead us all in the way everlasting.

Man was also created before the first Sabbath so both God and Man could enjoy it together.
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. Genesis 2:2

you will find very few people are convinced in threads because you will see the same people discussing the same topics and with the same arguments and still unconvinced but there is nothing wrong with discussing things.
