even if I focus on Jesus, my focus is ruined

rely on God to help me focus? even my "relying" falls short

Even in falling short we move closer to God. The righteous man is not that one that never falls short, but the one that keeps getting back up.

Metaphorical speaking, you’re 5 years old wanting to be 18 years old. Our Father in Heaven loves us at all our ages.

Growing in knowledge, wisdom, understanding, love, focus, etc is a process and takes time. No worries, I’m sure you’re right on schedule!
