My 21 year son has decided to join the US Army close to 2 weeks ago. What saddens me is that he says he wants his family to be proud od him. He obviously feels we are not proud of him now. He leaves in October. Please help me to pray for him.

I am sure he does think you are proud of him for what he has accomplished up until now. He probably wants you to be really proud of making, what he feels, is a decision and sacrafice to be proud of.

The way I see what he is saying, is that in his mind, this is a way to define a *proud worthy* accomplishment.

I pray for his safety, and that your heart can support this decistion of his.

Blessings
