I've heard a lot of good reviews about it. Who broadcasts the series?

Not Hollywood. It's crowd funded for streaming, you can pay it forward so others can watch the The Chosen for free. No one is obligated to pay for it. Download the The Chosen App on your phone for free! Cast it to your TV device, RoKu, firestick, Chromecast, Samsung SmartTV etc. I heard Netflix wanted to stream it but The Chosen execs. said NO, they don't want Hollywood or any other TV bureaucrat's involved with the show.

The Chosen has broken all records for viewership, over 300 million people watch it around the World.

You can also watch it on your computer on their website, Season 1 and Season 2 for free; https://watch.angelstudios.com/thechosen

So many people are starting to read the Bible because of this Show, which is a good thing! 💖

The Reliant. It's a Christian movie, one of the few I've ever thought was any good. But I wouldn't call it family friendly. There's some violent subject matter related to the story. I felt around the end it got cheesy and overly preachy, as most Christian movies tend to do. But up till then it was good.

Older movies are the way to go, because they were made when people were at least afraid of outraging Christians.

Here are a few of my favorites.

1. The Scarlett Pimpernel

2. Jason and the Argonauts

3. Arsenic and Old Lace

4. Henry V

5. A Lady Vanishes

6. Random Harvest

7. Rebecca

8. Pygmalion

9. Gone With The Wind

10. Wizard of Oz

I would have liked this movie if they hadn't made Yahweh female. Blasphemous. He's our Father, not our Mother.
I had the same nitpick when I first saw it. I looked passed it for the sake of artistic license. The "Wisdom" character didn't make much sense either. But casting choices aside...

I found the Christian apologetics were on point. It was an exploration from grief and doubt to inner-peace and faith. It's rare to find any kind of entertainment that actually has Christian values prominently shown.

My kids enjoy watching Hogan's Heros and when my eldest was younger, the old black and white Robin Hood.

I can still remember the theme song
🎵 Robin Hood, Robin Hood riding through the Glen
Robin Hood, Robin Hood with his band of men
Steals from the riiiich
Gives to the Gooood
Robin Hood! Robin Hood!🎵

I want to find thaf Robin Hood again so all our kids can watch it.

4.) A Week Away

5.) Remember Sunday (for the record, it's been awhile since I've seen it. I think it's PG; no mature content and not a lot of language that I remember).

7.) Sweet Carolina (bring tissues)

My new favorite movie 'The Cokeville Miracle' a true amazing story about a bomber, teachers /children, angels and miracles. Ben-Hur w/Charlton Heston, The Parent Trap w/Haley Mills is adorable. A very heart-warming series is 'Long Lost Family' UK, US and AU. It's about family members who hire the show to find adopted out kids or kids searching for the parents that had them adopted. It won't disappoint:)

Same here . I was uneasy about that but the rest of it is lovely. So many people need healing from father wounds that have damaged their relationship with God!

Some of my favourite Christian movies are:

-Fireproof
-Run the Race
-October Baby
-Soul Surfer
-Princess Cut
-Come What May

I listed them least-to-most cheesy for those of you who are afraid of cheddar :)

Some non-Christian movies that were still good are:
-Storm Rider
-Anne of Green Gables
-We Bought a Zoo (this one has a few cuss words)
-Follow the River (some violence)

And last, but most definitely not least, -
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (for any girl (or guy) who wants to have a good laugh!)
