Aw the eel scene was the best

Type in 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople eel' into YT and see what you get...

Oh no
Am ashamed to hear that Sam Neill encountered ONLINE ABUSE for daring to speak out on behalf of Otago residents who didn't want their beautiful land and forests and fauna (native creatures) destroyed by open cast gold mining.

Why. There are plenty of OTHER places you could find gold, plus all the stuff that's been hoarded by the scrooges of this world, why would anyone want to destroy someone else's homes just to find gold. Priorities people.

If you really wanted, get a salvage permit and go find gold from all the shipwrecks that had gold in their safes. smh.

You don't have to give a portion of what you find to the government that issued the permit?
not sure about that.
It's in international waters so ...?
I think you may need to give some to the insurance companies.

IDK for sure but Kelly Tarlton did it.

He used his money to make an underwater aquarium so us land dwellers could appreciate sea life without getting wet.

That would be awesome. Though I'd still like to cave dive with sharks. Australia has lots of Great Whites from what I've seen on the nature channels. South Africa has done of the biggest.

You live on the edge...

Yea Australia has lots of dangerous beasties. They also have (or did have) the Great Barrier Reef. It might be dying from pollution though.

Why mine for gold when you can just go underwater and see these beauties?

I heard something about that a few years ago.
I'd hoped something could be done to save it. Though I don't know how that would be accomplished .

He beat cancer and then passed away from an undisclosed cause.

So sad. But,he said death didn't scare him. But it would upset him because he has so much more to do.

You done quite enough dear man. Your movies will live on.

Hunt for Red October was my favorite.
And of course,Jurassic Park.

Rest in peace dear sir. May God comfort all who shall miss you. 🙏 💕
Don’t forget he played the Antichrist early in his career.

hmm

Have you seen Evil Angels?

He didn't play an evil angel in that one...

Sam Neill had a great range of roles in the IMD.
"Sam Neill was originally from Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland".
Yea he was born there but grew up in New Zealand.
And his original/birth name was Nigel. He didn't like Nigel so changed it to Sam.

In New Zealand, anyone called Nigel is automatically named Nigel No-Mates.

Meaning, he has no friends!
