Sandi sometimes God allows things like this to happen so that we will seek Him... you know?
I mean, many of us -- maybe all of us -- wouldn't seek God in a million years if everything in our life was all hunky-dory, you know?
The most important thing Sandi is not your marriage. I know it's important to you, and it's actually important to God too -- but the most important thing is your relationship with Him. You really need to know where you stand with the Lord, and you need to have absolute assurance about it, and a changed life to back up that assurance.
And I don't believe you can fix your marriage without God anyway.
With God, it's possible. But even if it's not fixed (because your husband may not follow God even if you do), you walk away with something better: absolute assurance that you belong to Him, the one who will never leave you nor forsake you.
I think we should deal with your relationship/standing with the Lord first, and then we can look at what guidance God's word has for your situation.
