If GOD ask you today, my son or daughter say three things I should you for you. What three things will you ask GOD to do for you?
 
I will ask GOD to do the following for me:

1) Father provide me with Wisdom.
2) Father give me your Strength and Power to overcome Evil.
3) Father made me understand your Word as it should be.
 
I would just ask for mercy, as I've always asked...As long as I can live life by his side, I don't care about anything else. I want his mercy and grace.
 
3 things I'd do for God

1. Love the people he loves
2. Trust His promises
3. Serve him. :)
 
I only ask for one thing. To love perfectly, as He does.

What hubris is hidden it that; to ask God to make me God. And yet it truly is the desire of my heart to love perfectly.
 
as I'm unemployed at the moment I'd ask for the ability to foot my own bill. Aside from that the wisdom and strength to deal with life.

You beat me to it :) I would ask that He help me love as He loves
 
I am not so sure that I can say there is anything God *should* do for me -- beyond 'keep His promises' - which He only *should* do, and would/will do, by His own dictate (not mine) - and because of who He is (i.e., with regard to His character - which, like everything else about Him, is perfect in every way).

For as long as I can remember, I have asked God for knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.

He has granted me a generous portion of the first two - I can't say much about the third... :(

Since I was about 15 years old, I have asked Him for - just one - good - woman - to be my life partner and companion - my 'helpmate' --- so that ... the two of us could serve Him together...

I reason within myself that - if I were a wise man - I would certainly have already found and married the most beautiful and wonderful woman that I have ever met in my life. :)

Alas, God has not brought us together yet...

Well, if God decided in his grace and providence to give me 3 things (other than his son)...

- That he enables me to honour and love and respect my husband til either of us dies.
- That he helps me to teach my children to faithfully love him
- That he helps me do his will on earth while I am alive
 
Hmmm interesting...well here's what I'd ask for..

1. Help me to understand how the mind of a man works
2. Help me to always walk with You and never compromise
3. Change me till there's nothing left of me..and replace it with You
 
I agree with several. God owes me nothing. There is nothing he SHOULD give me, unless he deems it so.

Were he to ask me what I wanted, I would say this.

1. Please forgive me my stupidity and my failures. I would gladly accept a cardboard box in an alley of your kingdom and still be happier than I am now.

2. Please, relieve me my pains. I suffer not only my own fears, but I am so empathetic. It tears my heart to shreds to see the suffering of others. Please relieve them too.

3. Please give me the knowledge and the strength to understand, and make it through this life. I can't do it alone.
 
1.) That He give me a God addition so that I can love Him with all my heart, soul, mid and strength
2.) That He will show me my mission
3.) That He provide a husband for me. I am 37 and still single and I do long and would love to be married to my soul mate
 
WISDOM . . . . . .i think with just that i would have EVERYTHING else figured out, it might not come easy but i would cope.
 
All God should do for me He has, and like everyone else here He owes me nothing. But the top 3
1) Redeem me thru the Blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:8-9).
2) Give me the ability to love others as He does (Romans 5:5; Romans 13:8-10). Thus I obey the law of liberty (Galatians 5:13-14; James 2:8-13).
3) Continue to sanctify and cleanse me with both His written Word, and even more so the Living Word Jesus Christ (I Peter 1:23-24; Ephesians 5:26; Psalms 119:9).
 
let's see, well since i just graduated college a job would be nice, great actually, money is starting to run low...
other than that well Ill let him pick what i need most for the other 2
 
God shouldnt do anything for me ive done nothing to deserve it and if He was to do something for me He has already done it on the crossso that i might be free and can be in a relatioship with Him

but if He asked what would i like :
more strength in my faith like those who face persecution in other countries
wisdom in making right decisions
more focus in Him
