I was reading your quote in your signature. Do you mean “illusive” as in salvation of the immortal soul is an illusion, or do you mean “elusive” as in salvation is coy and eludes us?
 
I believe that if you love someone, set them free. If they come back they're yours; if they don't then you stalk them.
