Matthew 19:23-26

{19:23} Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say
unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the
kingdom of heaven. {19:24} And again I say unto you, It is
easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for
a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. {19:25} When
his disciples heard [it,] they were exceedingly amazed,
saying, Who then can be saved? {19:26} But Jesus beheld
[them,] and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but
with God all things are possible.

Luke 1:50-53

{1:50} And his mercy [is] on them
that fear him from generation to generation. {1:51} He hath
shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in
the imagination of their hearts. {1:52} He hath put down the
mighty from [their] seats, and exalted them of low degree.
{1:53} He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the
rich he hath sent empty away.

Luke 6:24-26

{6:24} But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your
consolation. {6:25} Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall
hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn
and weep. {6:26} Woe unto you, when all men shall speak
well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Luke 8:14-15

{8:14} And that which fell among thorns are they,
which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with
cares and riches and pleasures of [this] life, and bring no
fruit to perfection. {8:15} But that on the good ground are
they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the
word, keep [it,] and bring forth fruit with patience.

God was not talking about wealth of money. He was talking about how the rich man has made himself rich, at the expense of the poor people. How the rich man made poor people, poor. And I am not talking about money. I am talking about things like reputation and honor. Although some of it is money, at the expense of making people poor.

Some people did this very thing to me, made themself rich with honor, praise and worship, and it was at the expense of making me poor, ugle and dishonorable.

One of them sold he's soul to the devil. Another one killed himself by suicide by cop. I have not seen or heard what has happaned to the other people yet. I seen one of them about 8 months ago, and I could see that he a much shame and guilt about something. I don't know what about.

Thread title reminds me of a non-fiction book that I read many years ago - Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
