Scroll bar in PMs

Is there any way to put a scroll bar in PMs? It doesn't take long for the tiny window to fill up and the only way I can go back to see it all it to select it with the mouse. It works but it's kind of awkward...

Just a thought! :)

i agree as well. i meant to add that suggestion about a week ago, but it just slipped my mind. haha. its a confirmation. =)
 
Yea....somethin' needs to be done....it drives me bananas :p
 
you guys know you can get back up to the top just by highlighting the text and moving your mouse up, right? i mean, i know its not as convenient as a scroll bar.. just letting you know of a way to get the job done in case you didn't know :)
 
Yeah, I mentioned that already. It's just a pain - I'd prefer a scroll bar. Or even the ability to make the window bigger.
 
Also what about a pop-up window for a PM? Just to at least let you know someone pm'd you. There are times when I am trolling the forums and don't even notice a PM :(
 
I don't know if this would be a simple modification.......... This chat app has been coded in a very old version of Flash ActionScript... I don't want to put too much time into modifying this present app because eventually we'll be redoing the whole chat app from scratch in the newer version of Flash ActionScript.

But when we do recode it, we'll definitely want that feature (and I think it will be much easier for me to do in the new version of Flash).

I just put up word pad and copy and paste it if I missed something.. I am use to having to do this for work so it is not a big deal to me.. But I see where you are all coming from .
 
Or you can right click in the window and select all... if you're trying to copy a conversation from PM. Just a thought :)
 
Suggestion

You all might want to put that you need a mic for chat i went into a room that had bible study and i have no speakers for my computer and now im really upset cause i cant hear it at all:(
 
You don't need a mic to hear, you just need one to speak. When you log in, there is an option to 'Let me hear the voices' or 'mute all speaking'. You need to make sure that you select the one to 'hear the voices'.. or whatever it says. Just don't choose 'mute all speaking'.

That way, if you don't have a mic, you can still HEAR everything that is being said, but you just cant respond by voice. Make sense?

And if I may also mention that this is not cheap financial venture either.
