Many times is not nice to be single but the most important thing is to learn to enjoy that too...

Christiancollegegirl - Nope, gotta disagree there. There's really no upside to being single. I mean, I guess you have more money, if that's your thing. But yeah, all that does is get you more stuff! And seriously, who really needs more stuff. Nope, there's probably not an upside to this singleness thing.

Ohhh, wait, I've got one! I mean, some people (statistically) wind up marrying serial killers. That only makes sense, right? I mean, serial killers can probably act all normal and stuff and get hitched to some poor unsuspecting person. I think Ted Bundy actually had a girlfriend. Maybe. I don't know. I could be making that up. My point here is that at least if you're single, you know you're not married to a serial killer.

Hi minessotabu are you single like me but am very ready to mingle with anybody from the planet talk to me and we can hook up,is it true that you are lame and you cant move out to meet people,i will hold your hand and walk with you in the city streets,sound like funny,lol not though but am serious of this

ummm... lol... it's been a while since i've caught up with this forum... and i have to say:

uh no! haha i dont like to be singled out (ironic cuz i'm single... haha) and uh no! haha just and FYI i dont date with ppl over the age of 26 or under the age of 20!! and i'm not keen on online anything. sooo... haha way to put me on the spot!

and betsy... stop giggling! it's not funnae! hahaha

Wanna know what is scarrier then being single? Being single with kids.. I know now that I can handle that.. But when it first happened to me I was freaking.. Didn't think I would ever make it on my own.. But to be honest.. I don't want to stay single forever..
 
Being single is not easy especially when your not doing anything. you go crazy and idle hands are the work of the devil.
I like being single and sometime I don't but I deal with it. some of the time... I just don't have because of my job - a soldier in the IDF (Israeli Defense Force)..
 
I have been single more often than not, but I have had my share of romantic entanglements. I have to say that America is not geared toward being single. People really don't know their neighbors and the sense of community has really diminished. If you don't mind going through life alone then you are a very special person. I was tired of eating alone, going to the movies alone, and travelling alone, not to mention 2/14, long ago.
