SDA false doctrine. Since the legalists are intent on promoting SDA, let's have a look at what they believe that is not biblical:

EG White said: "Christ took upon His sinless nature our sinful nature. Christ took our nature and it's deteriorating condition." (Q.D. p.654-656).

According to White and SDAs, Christ acquired a sinful nature. This is false. Christ had a sinless human nature. Christ took our sin punishment, not our sin nature. And He bore our sins in His body, not in His nature.

"Now while our Great High Priest is making atonement for us, we should seek to become perfect in Christ." (The Great Controversy, E.G. White, 1911, p. 623).

SDAs teach that though saved by grace, we are kept saved by keeping the Law. This is partial atonement. Therefore, to stay saved according to SDAs, we must continue to keep the Sabbath, the 10 Commandments and pay the tithe.

SDA have no idea what it means to have eternal life or to be born again

Investigative judgment means no assurance of salvation. According to SDAs, beginning on October 22, 1844, Christ entered upon the "judgment phase" of His ministry, whereby He blots out sin. The SDA "Investigative Judgment" doctrine rests on Ellen White's claimed revelation that Christ entered the Holy of Holies not at His ascension, but in 1844 (The Great Controversy, p.362-373).

Hebrews 9:12 contradicts White's theory: "by His own blood he entered (past tense) in once (not in 1844) into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.' Hebrews 9:12, 25.

Satan the scapegoat?
EG White says in TGC page 422: "When Christ, by virtue of His own blood, removes the sins of His people from the heavenly sanctuary at the close of His ministration, He will place them upon Satan, who, in the execution of the judgment, must bear the final penalty."

There is zero Biblical justification for this. Our sins are forgiven when we confess, not some time in the future. Our sins were paid for at Calvary. Jesus declared "It is finished". In Greek, this is "Tedeleski". Ancient invoices have been found with that word written on them. It literally means, "Paid in full".

There is more to say, but I hope this enough to silence the SDA. I'd much rather talk about the wonderful salvation that Jesus bought for us at such a great cost, and what it means for us in experience now.

Sounds kinda like what Kenneth Copeland used to teach that Jesus was tortured in hell and Jesus actually became a sinner in hell.

No, Jesus was preaching to the spirits in prison while He was in hell (1 Peter 3:19)

He experienced the punishment for our sin on the Cross and He never saw corruption meaning He never became a sinner and never had a sin nature (Acts 2:27). Now this is speaking of Jesus Himself not His Body as His Body was beaten up pretty badly.

Therefore, to stay saved according to SDAs, we must continue to keep the Sabbath, the 10 Commandments and pay the tithe.

If we are abiding IN Christ being led by the Holy Spirit then we will keeping God's moral law as 9 of the 10 Commandments are repeated in the New Covenant under the Doctrine of Christ (aka, Law of Christ) and the Sabbath is now continually abiding on Christ living in the peace that can only be found in Him.

In John 14:27 Jesus tells us, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

The Sabbath day was established so the people would rest from their labors, only to begin again after a one-day rest. I like to take the weekend off from work myself to rest physically and mentally.

But, as a New Covenant believer abiding in Christ 24/7/365 resting in Him walking in the peace that cane only come from Him is the true sabbath New Covenant believers and is a higher standard that observing Saturday sabbath which SDAs don't fully follow according to OT law.

The New Covenant warns us against walking after the flesh instructing us to instead submit ourselves to the Lord and be led of His Spirit based on God's Word, so those being led of the Spirit are not going to be stealing, lying, doing sexual sins, practicing idolatry, etc, etc. as this is sinful behavior

One cannot walk after the flesh and still be saved as they disqualify themselves from salvation as walking after the flesh is rejecting the Lord turning away from Him to live for self. That ends very badly unless one confesses and forsakes their sinful behavior and starts living for the Lord once more abiding IN Him.

And of course there is no instruction in the New Covenant to pay 10%. We should support the gospel financially but the New Covenant does not instruct us on any specific amount we are to give. But it does say he that sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously - 2 Corinthians 9:6

And 2 Corinthians 9:7 says every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

10 Commandments Repeated in the New Testament

#1 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Matthew 22:37)

#2 - Dear children, keep yourself from idols (1 John 5:21)

#3 - Do not swear – not by heaven or by earth or by anything else (James 5:12)

#4 - No Saturday sabbath commanded in the New Testament (sorry bout that SDA peoples!)

#5 - Honor your father and mother (Matthew 19:16-21)

#6 - You shall not murder (Matthew 19:16-21)

#7 - You shall not commit adultery (Matthew 19:16-21)

#8 - You shall not steal (Matthew 19:16-21)

#9 - You shall not give false testimony (Matthew 19:16-21, Revelation 22:15, Revelation 21:8)

#10 - Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry (Colossians 3:5)

Concerning the sabbath in the New Testament, Jesus said come unto me and I'll give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30) so abiding In Christ is the rest we are called to in the New Testament
