his user id says it all. lol
While I hate arguing, this I believe was completely uncalled for. Whether Ugly was in the wrong or not, two wrongs don't make a right.

Ugly's comments may have been sound but I think they could have been said differently. Like that saying "You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar" Don't take down your thread, it's a part of posting. If you feel like your having problems with anything you shouldn't feel uncomfortable posting them on here. Your gonna get replies from all kinds of people. Anyhow I guess I'm one of those rare people who believe that God did make someone for me and I was also one of those people that wasn't sure if they would be content being aloneBut I also know that is in God's hands and it will happen whenever he decides for it to be so, if he decides for it to be so. So until then there's no need to sit and wonder. Go out and live your life for God and if you still find yourself thinking those thoughts (like We all do) just remind yourself "I'm not going to worry about it, it's in God's hands" So Good Luck to you and God Bless

This is how i am. If anyone doesn't like the way i speak feel free to put me on ignore.
You're right, it is supposed to be ey. And as a Canadian saying ey should come easily to me, what an embarrassing mistake![]()
What ugly said is terse but it's 'truth,' too, and, we should welcome 'truth,' God says that He will make marriage a great thing, but He is the one who will put marriage together.
I'm not married, never been, never had, OK, stopping there, but I will say this, I am WAITING on Him, and, God does say in Matthew 10, that what He has brought together, let no one tear asunder (apart). So, we are to KNOW that God is who brings us a partner, and, what I did like of the OP was that she is wanting prayer that God will bring her a partner.
That is good, we are to pray to God in our lives, but, again, more truth, at least, the best example I can think of, is not our praying for a certain someone but instead praying for a certain Someone, if you will, to show us His will that is perfect for our life to follow Him. Afterall, it may seem that life is all about 'love' but it's really much more than that, it is all about living our lives to give glory to God. "Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
And, 'love' is a huge part of that, as 1 Cor. 13 says, better to have 'love' than 'faith' or 'hope' even, love, indeed, conquers a lot, but, please keep in mind, miladies, seeking a man for love, but only one love conquers all, His. Because He loved us, and, sent His Son to die for us, we can be with the promise of the 'peace' of having Him in our life forevermore![]()

Sorry, sheyprincess, that you felt scolded by Ugly , he meant well, he meant 'truth.'![]()
And, we all know, 'the truth will set you free.' And, challenges are good, they make us grow. Without challenges, we don't grow. It takes faith to get through challenges and, for Christians, that faith will come through 'faith in Him.' (Phil 3: 8,9)
This thread is basically a bunch of single people lecturing others how they should be "happy" to share in their misery.
Indeed. It's not what you say, it's how you say it, that matters.
