Suppose it turns out that the people behind the Harris campaign have been behind these two assassination attempts. That means that anyone who donated to the campaign is also complicit in these assassination attempts. I realize they would not have been informed about it, but there is something known as a sin of ignorance. For example if you donate money to a Catholic Charity, the NGO that is helping transport these children who are being trafficked in the country you may have thought you were donating to a good cause, but once you find out you need to confess and repent because you actually donated to people involved in that sin. This is why the Lord told us to pray that God "not lead us into temptation". If you are being led by God and are right with Him He would keep you from committing these sins of ignorance.
Leviticus 5:17 17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
