Second characteristic of the wicked: entice with the look:

  • “A worthless person, a wicked man… *winking with his eyes*, speaking with his feet, teaching with his fingers;” (Proverbs 6.12,13).

Characteristics of the wicked in regard to their eyes:

First: Lord’s fear is void:

  • "There is no fear of God before their eyes." (Romans 3.18);

Second: doesn't have generous eyes because they don't care for the needy:

  • “He who has a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he gives of his bread to the poor.” (Proverbs 22.9)

Third: don’t tell the happenings apart:

  • “But your eyes have seen all the great acts of Jehovah which He did.” (Deuteronomy 11.7);

Fourth: try to stir up bad feelings and thoughts:

  • “And Jehovah says, Because the daughters of Zion are proud, and have walked with stretched out necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet;” (Isaiah 3.16).

May our eyes be like the eyes of the virtuous woman below: thoroughly pure, simple:

  • “Behold, you are beautiful, my love; behold, you are beautiful; you have doves' eyes.” (Songs 1.15).

Have good eyes in order to can see the good weekend that Jesus are giving you.
