Seek in the neighbor what Jesus put in them, and not your expectance.
Regrettably, many people aren’t able to take over themselves. They hit it off with other people, they even hit off a business together, but in the first wrangle, they break up, in the hope that they will find someone that matches their tastes (contrary to Ecclesiastes 10.4).
The problem is that we try to elicit a response or reaction that pleases us, instead of seeking out to bring out what Jesus put best in their heart. In this way, without hanging on in staying close people around us, we will never be made perfect before Jesus, let alone we will be of one utility for them.
May us never be an unprofitable servant: who does only what they ought to do (Luke 17.9,10).
