Call me names...
Say bad things about me...
Deny me as I am...
Think less of me...
I will not be hurt,
nor will I be offended.
Not because I don’t value myself,
but because I know I carry value.
My Lord is my value!
Others only care to be valued.
He brings “I”
Others only debate the false notions of self.
I only am in “I AM.”
Indeed, everything else is the crisis of identity.
Everything else is the dry leaves on the ground,
blown in by one wind,
and blown away by another.

Call me names...
Say bad things about me...
Deny me as I am...
Think less of me...
I will not be hurt,
nor will I be offended,
so long I have my Lord by my side.
He is my every step, my every breath
He is my cradle and my grave.​
