We have all thought about ourselves higher than we ought, and subsidized an attitude that emphasises on ourselves and our own longings. Containing this attitude also often affects the support and provision received by close friends, family and even God. Let it go, let god take it. Let’s pray.
Dear God, I’m repentant for my selfishness and self-desire. I try so ample to fulfil my needs and forget the desires you have for me and for the kingdom. Your desires for me are not demanding, nor are they hurtful Lord because you are constructive, and guiding me into the life you want me to live. I'm sorry for giving into the devils plot against me and I choose right now, today, to surrender all selfish ego and longings that meet me and not the holy kingdom. I yield all thought of unworthiness and worry to you father and give you the reins of my life so that you can toil in me, because I want to allow you to guide me wherever I need to go, refusing to remain self-centred. I pray that you help me change my egocentricity, my bad attitude and unholy aspiration to meet my desires and forget my own spiritual necessities. I know you take me in without question, and that is why you're awe-inspiring. You take me in with grace, open arms and with no resentment toward my sin. Lord You love me. And I love you too. You are my father and my creator. You know me more than anyone, you know me more than I know myself. Help me to pray according to your word and converse in fellowship with you and other brothers and sisters that believe. Stir my soul lord and help me to make the choices you designed me to make rather than the ones the world tells me to. I receive this in Jesus Name, Amen.
