I know its the morning of, but I hope you all have a blessed day of rest. May we all rest from our own pursuits and struggles, and may we all seek to bring rest physically and spiritually to those around us. And may grant us rest in the process.

It is the preparation day and as we prepare for another wonderful day of rest and revitalization, I wish everyone here (to whom this applies) a wonderfully happy and blessed Sabbath day!
 
Isayah 58:12-14, "And those of you will rebuild the old waste places; you will raise up the foundations of many generations; and you will be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In; If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of Yahweh honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in aidle conversation: Then you will find your joy in Yahweh; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father--for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."

Hebrews 4:1-6, "Therefore, since a promise of mentering His rest remains, let us fear so that none of you should come short of it. For this message was preached to us, as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not benefit them, because they did not nshare in the faith of those who obeyed--However, we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: So I pvowed in My wrath, They will not enter into My rest, although the works were finished from the foundation of the world, For He spoke in a certain place of the Seventh Day, in this way: And Yahweh rested the Seventh Day from all His works. And in this place again: If they will enter into My brest. Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience."

Praise Yaweh He has given us a day to forget the world on focus on Him 100%, not 99%, 100%.

A Day? Aren't we always to focus on Him?
 
That is what the day is for.

100% focus not 99%.

One may walk in the way Yahweh wants all week, however people have to work, and while at work, while work is not evil, but while at work they are not focused on or doing the work of Yahweh. The beauty of the Sabbath is EVERYTHING worldly is forgotten. It is a complete focus on that of Yahweh, this would be impossible to do every day of the week as people have to work and do recreational things.

Hebrews 4:
8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
 
Hebrews 4:3For we which have believed do enter into rest. Apparently you people don't believe yet. This is a spiritual rest 7 days a week as we the true believers worship in spirit, it is no longer physical where it's about selfish prideful man, it's about the 24/7 365 days a year rest we have in our Sabbath who is Christ our rest. ... So you go ahead being of the dead continue in your pagan worship practice.

whatever we do...eat, work, pray etc., we are to do as unto Him. Not for motive of merit but as we rest in his provision we keep the Shabbat continuously.

There is a difference in belief. One keeps the Sabbath all the time with telling themselves how they are resting in him every day as they work every day, the other does the same daily, but adds a day of actually walking the talk, by actually allowing God to take over without their help by working. To each his own.

Ya no doubt and the difference in belief is that, one don't believe so why are they on CC preaching what is unbelief? Are they really asking what the real truth is? Because We have told you over and over. We understand the Sabbath, we believe, and you's who don't understand the Sabbath, don't believe in the Word. You grab scripture and use it to your condemnation. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and the Creator of it and if He says He is the Sabbath and our rest, then it's time you start living as a true believer and stop your heathen propaganda as there are young Christians on here who aren't here to learn lies.

My Dad is bigger than your Dad and if you don't stop bullying me I'll have him come beat you up! Oh, oh, I'm 88 and I guess my Dad left. NOW! What will I do!

I guess I'll have to stop quoting scripture so you can run the world your way! What is that again? Don't keep the Sabbath because Christ is the Sabbath?

Spreading lies again? I did not say don't keep the sabbath, I said, Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath and the Creator of it and if He says He is the Sabbath and our rest, then it's time you start living as a true believer and stop your heathen propaganda as there are young Christians on here who aren't here to learn lies.

We Christians do keep the Sabboth 24/7 365 days a year. It is no longer a shadow (old testament) as the Lord has realized it in our spirit. It has nothing to do with working 6 days and resting on the 7th like the old testament law, we aren't under law, we are under grace, and being under grace by faith it puts us in a constant rest. You yet don't understand the power of the cross and what it did for us who believe truth.

Oh ya and as far as your Dad is bigger than my Dad, I have only one Father and He already showed your Dad who's tougher.

Read on a few verses...

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

This verse has been explained so many times, but here it is once more...

The word for rest here is Sabbatismos and means keeping the Sabbath. The Diaglott has it very well here...

Heb 4:9 Therefore remains a keeping of a sabbath for the people of the God.

The Sabbath is the shadow of the Millenium, the time when God's Kingdom will be established and rule on earth...

Dan 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
Dan 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Notice this is speaking of something future? And this was written over twenty years after the crucifixion., the Sabbath is the shadow looking forward to the Kingdom of God and the Millenium.

Part of the Shabbat injunction...

Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

So if you keep the Shabbat continuously, when do you work? On the other hand if one does as God says...

Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

that person has six full days to do all his own work.
