I don't think I understand what you mean by saying that a person is a "cold fish"....
 
A "cold fish" is someone who is very unemotional. It used to be a popular accusation when someone's romantic advance was rebuffed. If she says she doesn't want to go out with you, it's easy to claim she's just a cold fish.

I believe a Born Again Believer should chose someone that is a Born Again Believer cause that they are equally yoked. And there is no problems with beliefs. So that there is no division between them when it comes to their beliefs and walking with the Lord Jesus. And Jesus should be the center of the relationship also.

Never be late! I think punctuality is very important. But if unexpected things happened, tell your date about it and be honest.

Dont fall asleep
Lol kidding me ... i dont know just be hourself n avoid to do silly things when you date someonem but if its happen let it go.. thats a normal things as human :)

Figured this belongs here....

It's not just about getting a great Christian girl, but offering a great Christian guy to that great Christian girl... To clarify, I guess one way to see what I'm saying is if you imagined a clone of yourself... and this person was exactly like you in every way. Would you be glad that the clone of yourself ends up with one of your Christian friends? You might hope for an awesome Christian girlfriend of your Christian guy friend... but you have to think of what the Christian girl is getting too.

My advice is to read all of 1 Corinthians 7 and not to just stop at verse 2 or 3. My advice also is to not disobey God in order to please someone you love. One more thing, believe God even if everyone else may do and tell you elsewise.
 
I think if its a first date don't do something that is totally out of sync with who you are. Don't put on a show. You'll have to keep it up and that is exhausting. Its okay to put your best foot forward, but make sure its your shoe on that foot. Dress well, be on time, be yourself. Its not an interview. Have fun. Talk, but even more important: listen.

Amen, brother! The topic of v. 2 and 3 should not be the sole reason for marriage, but rather not sinning with the topic of v. 2 and 3, among other possible godly reasons to get hitched.
 
Put God in the center of your life and he will lead you to the right person. God works in mysterious ways and trust Him to lead you in a Godly dating.
