My Grandma used to tell me "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". I should heed that advice more often than I do.

My mom used to tell me "You can't always get what you want". She would sometimes sing it to me, which is kind of annoying. Now, my oldest daughter sings it to her kids, but that is funny.

A quote (figure of speech) that I heard recently really interested me. I mean it's old and everyone knows it. But the other day I found out everyone never finishes the saying. It's on wikipedia so it has to be true ;)

"Jack of all trades, master of none"

But the entire phrase is actually:

Jack of all trades, master of none,though oftentimes better than master of one.
