I do stupid things when i'm stressed and my mind is in another place. For instance, I once put laundry detergent in my dishwasher instead dishwashing liquid and didn't noticed until my kitchen floor started flooding with bubbles.
I also accidentally went into the ladies room even though i'm a dude.

I can't tell the difference between cabbage and lettuce at a glance. Both green, both round, so sue me.

Once when I was babysitting for family and when the day was done I went home and fell asleep. Awakened @7,I looked at the clock and though oh no I've slept through. So I get up throw on clothes rush to my brothers house.
Upon arriving I notice all the cars are home ,my brother is sitting out back at the neighbors,He waved.
I rush into the house thinking something must be wrong if they are all still home they leave @5/6 I'm the morning.
Getting inside my SIL is holding the baby and baby Moma is sitting there also, nonchalantly.
I state to my SIL are you guys off today . She laughs.
So I just sit down for a chat.
Sitting there I notice its getting darker........
Anyway to make a LONG story shorter.
When I woke it was 7 pm and I thought it was next morning.
I felt like such a dunce but it was good for a laugh.

I went back home to bed!

I like to tell God how good my food tastes because I never give thanks before my meal. I believe we are not supposed to so I only think about it. 😂😂

I watch the ancient alien astronaut theorists TV series...
I also watch paranormal mysteries...
I believe in Angels, Soulmates and Unicorns...
I'm a hopeless Romantic and believe that I will ultimately live to be 'Happily Ever After'...
I believe there is good in everyone... Until they prove me wrong...
I believe in making random acts of kindness... just for fun...
I'm a bit embarrassed by J-Lo's halftime performance...
I'm a bit embarrassed to be a conservative under the Trump administration - but concede it beats the alternative...

Do you listen to Coast to Coast AM? I used to listen to it all the time, but haven't in a long time. It's a late night national AM radio show that talks about UFOs and the paranormal among other things but UFOs is their most covered subject (I like paranormal, not a big fan of UFO stuff).

I have listened to them on occasion in the past when on road trips... Thanks for the reminder... Haven't listened in for a while...

Ohhh I'd like to add another one. I used to be addicted to Lifetime Network movies. Even the sappy romantic ones. But that's not a problem anymore since I dumped my TV half a decade ago :giggle:

Welll..., today is my birthday, and this is a good story for a birthday. Some time ago, I was in a hotel room and could not find a lady to share expenses, (however, I had honorable intentions and don't support premarital relations). A good Christian lady could have kept me out of trouble.

I don't support drinking of alcohol unless you have a proven track record of responsible moderation in a safe environment. For example, for pilots, I believe the rule is 8 hours from bottle to throttle, or something similar. And tests have shown that even one or two drinks can effect the driver's maximum performance, and could effect safety. This varies from person to person. And teens may not understand how alcohol effects their own reactions and behavior. Once in high school, I drank alcohol without experiencing the effects, and almost caused an accident since I was driving a higher powered car than I was used to, and was impaired without realizing it.

I don't drink excessively these days, but some time ago, I had more than my usual limit of two drinks. I had come out of the shower, and decided that since it was 3:00 AM or so, and no one appeared to be up in the hotel or driving by, that it might be fun to walk down to the lobby and get some coffee. This is why a single guy should not drink alone without a lady. But, it was fun anyway.
And pretty harmless, but also an example of how alcohol can effect behavior.

I like Martha Stewart, especially since she's become an ex con. She was on one of her food channel things reading a letter from a viewer whose name was Buffy Higgenbothem from Connecticut. I'll never forget that name. Buffy wrote asking Martha if she knew of an "implement" that would open pistachios. Buffy complained that her fingers were sore from opening them and that "my thumbs are absolutely swollen".

Now - before Martha was a convict, she would have said "yes, i like to open my pistachios for my guests and wrap them in foil and paint little faces on them and sometimes my fingers are sore, blah blah" but not the new Martha. New Martha's shoulders kind of slumped and she said (and this is nearly verbatim) "Well..... Buffy. While I don't know of an .... implement... that is designed for opening pistachios, you might try NOT EATING SO MANY. Here's a little Martha Stewart tip. If you're eating pistachios and your thumbs swell up, maybe it's time to cut back. (camera crew laughing in background)

Nothing to do with embarrassment thing, but... .... oh nothing.
