Hi all,
So I honestly want to know how to meet people who have a similar calling as me. I know that there are other people out there who are called into long term mission work but I constantly find myself around people who are called to different areas of ministry. I have known since a very young age that I was going to be a long term missionary overseas. I have prayed and almost every decision that I make in my life is geared toward that end. My struggle is that I often feel very alone in this. I struggle with the thought that the people around me are not called to a similar ministry, and while I am overjoyed that they follow their own calling, I am sad at the thought that they will not always be with me. I guess my question is how do I find peace with the thought that I may not find someone who will walk this path with me and how do I overcome the loneliness that I feel and find contentment in my present situation?

I know this is the young adults forum but I saw your post and thought I could help. I was very young when I felt called into ministry. The youth I went to church with, well a lot of them weren't even saved. So I knew I was called and Sunday nights at church I would go to the alter and pray and cry. I felt very alone. So I know where you are coming from. But you know that God has called you then believe that he will send someone of kindred spirit your way. He has called you and He will prepare you with everything you need, even if its just a friend or friends along the way.

The body of Christ is unified we will always help youre not alone sweet. God will soon call me into evangelism I always had a heart for/to be an evangelist God has sent different prophets and /or prophetic friends but KNOW THIS when Christians are truelly saved (they know kingdom truths) the bible says in the gospels its very difficult for the righteous to be saved its very difficult process at first to embrace your calling because you have to be cleansed in preparation in this preparation process for my calling the demons they i hadnt repented of made me speak against one of God's servants the heavens were shut I backslid . the lord helped me repent. The kingdom of God is very difficult to obey to repent to sacriface to love him and listen and obey.
God has had great mercy on my life but Im so exciting itching to evangelise share my testimony of how the Lord saved me restored me healed me and brought fromn the pit and will me bring so close to him. Im excited I will be a very faithful servant and child to God esp later on.

i have a calling for missions in China i dont understand everything about that so i leave in Gods hands. God bless you.~

forgive me I should have shared this verse with you: (Isaiah 6:1)

Isaiah dropped to his knees and confessed his sinfulness and unworthiness (v.5). But God used an angel to purify him and his contrite heart so that his “guilt [was] removed, and [his] sins . . . forgiven” (v.7). Now prepared for service, Isaiah embraced God’s call to be His messenger (v.8).

Thanks. I actually also feel called to China. You are actually the first person I have met who has also been called there. Most of the people that I know that are called into long term missions are currently walking out their ministry.

yeh i dont know whether to go now probably not but God is in control of the timing He wants me to stay in NZ
