I'm playing around with haikus. I'll probably add more to this file as the mood strikes. Feel free to add your own in comments!

1.

A dove sat and watched
As I walked to church today.
I thought of His peace.


2.

My church with no bells
Doesn't sound like the others.
Love whispers inside

A bumblebee's search
Makes a flower touch the ground.
God's nature brings joy

When people embrace
They forget to hide themselves
And they briefly live


5.

Choirs sing from chapels
Birds sing while hidden in trees
Both offer God praise

6.

Soft sunlight flows in
And stretches across my face.
A new day, like hope.

7.

Once a woman lived
Who kept an ocean inside
She had a soft voice

awakens joy; mountains, jealously eager to add
sits comfortable beneath my consciousness;
as thankfulness preambles us both
