I've got my wooden club. Has anyone seen my dead horse?
You can bring a dead horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

I say no for several reasons.
1. Jesus wasn't born during this time
2. Christmas didn't originate until hundreds of years after Christ was born.
3. The Bible never gives us instruction too.
Watch the video for further explanation, it's really good!
4. There's no prohibition in Scripture to remember and celebrate the Incarnation...the fact that God took on our human nature in order to eventually die for our sins...whatever day it may be.
I believe in making every holiday no mattr th orgin to glorify God. They're awesome witnessing opportunities! Invite ur neighborhood to a Jesus Birthday party for example and tell them about Jesus coming to earth to one day die. Taking th sin of all humanity and th full wrath of God that we deserved. I think it's ok 2 celebrate Jesus birth, but as a time to reflect on what Jesus came for, not trees, santa, etc.
biblical birth is a mournful time because of hardships of life and death is a joyful time because of leaving th pain of this life 4 glory, but our world's changed this concept.
just as Paul said it's ok to eat th meat offered to idols becuz it's nothing 2 us, so do I find it alright to celebrate a pagan rooted holiday for becuz th paganess of it means nothing 2 us.
I really liked th video and respect ur opinion greatly! Celebrating or not celebrating Christmas doesn't really mattr, all that mattrs is having Christ in our hearts!![]()
Christmas is TAMMUZ day (search Google TAMMUZ and CHRISTMAS)
worshipping on christmas is an abomination, but it is not the greatest abomination in the Bible!
no there is a worship day WORSE than Christmas!
Yes, right in your Bible!
Ezek 8:14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD'S house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. (Search google for Tammuz and christmas pagan holiday)
Ezek 8:15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
SO WHAT IS A DAY MORE ABOMINABLE THAN CHRISTMAS?
Ezek 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
Ezek 8:17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
SUN DAY!
worshipping on SUNDAY is more abominable than even worshipping on christmas!
So no, I wont worship tammuz christmas day and I CERTAINLY will NEVER go to church on SUN DAY.

This implies that if you worship God on Sunday you are worshipping the sun. If you worship God on Saturday are you worshipping Saturn? I would think if you worship God it is to Him the glory should be given not the day.

And God knows who are his and who are not. And as he told the Disciples leave then alone, there were others preaching his name and did not follow their customs and Christ said leave them alone a divided Kingdom can't stand, when preaching his Name
Paul said the same from Jail, that there are those that preach sincere and those that don't
And those that don't or do that he glories in both, why?
Because the saviors name is being revealed.
So are you not happy at the name of Christ being preached?
So Brother in Christ are you free? You do not sound like it. It sounds as if you are forcing your belief on to everyone else, and maybe you do not mean it this way, yet it is coming out this way.
And Christ came to deliver us from bondage, and be free to love each other and not harm one another, loving each other as each believes.
Is anyone here harming you?

1 Kings 14:23, "Because they also built for themselves high places, sacred pillars and sacred poles on every elevated hill and under every green tree."
Oh contrar, Luke 1.5-8-9 wt 1 Chron.24.5-19, shows us when John the Baptist was concieved, and Luke 1.26-36 show that Elizabeth was in her sixth month when Mary concieved, looking at the Hebrew calendar, that has Jesus born during Tabernacles, and Zech.14.16-19 shows that keeping that feast is VERY important to our ultimate well being.
Yeremyah 10:1-6, "Hear the word which Yahweh speaks concerning you, O house of Israyl. This is what Yahweh says: Do not learn the way of the heathen and do not be deceived by the signs of heaven; though the heathen are deceived by them For the religious customs of the peoples are vain; worthless! For one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. They decorate it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, so that it will not move; topple over. They are upright, like a palm tree, but they cannot speak; they must be carried, because they cannot go by themselves. Do not give them reverence! They cannot do evil, nor is it in them to do righteousness!"
