Sirk, you're awesome! I may be over thinking this, but depending on your geographical location, sucking your toe all the way to Mexico, could result in only having a stump for a foot by the time you reach there.
 
I dare anyone of you to turn off the tv and computer and go out at night alone or with a friend or partner and walk around the city for 1-4 hours or until you are tired (when everyone is asleep around 1am). Dare your partner or friend or yourself to take the narrow and dark path. You'll scare yourself/yourselves and the two of you will be saying psalm 23 to yourself/yourselves all the way home. Just like the little piggy crying WEE WEE WEE ALL THE WAY HOME. :) I DARE YOU DO IT BY YOURSELF OR WITH A FRIEND. I DID IT WITH MY WIFE. IT WAS SO FUN. :)

Why put yourself needlessly in danger? That's not wise or spiritual, it's silly.
And I have no problems with most of Cyndi Lauper's songs, it's just that one I can't stand.

If you watch the news you'll only see bad news around the world and around you, but SEEING IS BELIEVING. Right now it's 12:17pm in Australia. So tonight around 12:17am turn of the tv and internet and walk and see your city for what it really is and not how bad the news made it to be. The World is a beautiful place regardless of all the evil and bad things going on.
IF GOD CREATED GOOD AND EVIL. What/Who are you afraid of?

Australia is in large part, much safer than much of the world, yes, but I don't see the need to tempt 'fate'. Besides, I won't be on the Internet or watching TV after midnight, I'll be in bed, hopefully asleep.

We shouldn't be picking on the OP guys, come on now. I mean at 21 he surely has it all figured out and can teach those of us old enough to be his parent the truth about God and life. Those of us who have been Christians longer than he's been alive just haven't figured it out is all.
 
What if I say All the Creatures in Greek Mythology are real and you can have fun with all of them if you are not afraid of course. Remember he is God, we are humans, he knows everything, he is everywhere and can do anything. WE ONLY SEE IT ON TV AND GAMES, but he can make it real, but we are only humans on Earth or in Heaven we will still be SCARED. LOL

Exactly. That why while you are being afraid your heavenly father or Jesus or anyone else would be laughing his/her butt off. Saying " I thought you want to come to Heaven. Now that you are here, This is just Heaven 101 we haven't even started yet" something like that. So if you are wondering what Heaven is going to be like. I guess you better start pondering a lot because don't say "well I will go there enter the pearly gates, see a nice paradise, see Angels doing there works, enter the city and life will be boring. LOL BORING? Why does everyone think Heaven is going to be boring?
 
I think mythological creatures are cool, but just that, mythological. On the other hand, the Greek gods and goddesses (most of them anyway) are complex versions of ancestor worship and confused and corrupted understandings/beliefs in the one true God. The rest of the gods are merely high-concepts eg. Time, Death.
 
There are many things we will do in Heaven that would be unwise to do here. Some things I think we should not practice here... or we might wind up there a lot sooner than we thought!
 
But speaking of what we'll be doing in Heaven, I'm reminded of a song. (Aaaaaaand... nobody is surprised that something reminded Lynx of a song.)

I'd rather praise God as I wandered around the New Heaven and New Earth or flew or did art or whatever.

You make it sound like heaven is in recession and there are budget cuts there. Last time I checked, they were using gold and precious stones for their construction work. :rolleyes:

The song was about IF Heaven't weren't all it is cracked up to be, I'd still want to go just to see Jesus.

And forget the snickers. That's one of the lamest candy bars I've ever had the misfortune of trying. I can tear up a kit kat though.
