OK--rest of the story

Why did Jesus say--Only the Father knows??
In Jesus time, there was still a monthly sighting of the new sliver moon. This would happen on the 29th day of the Hebrew month or the 30th day of the Hebrew month. If the moon could not be sighted on the 29th day, either because of its proximity to the sun or because there was cloud coverage, then the 30th day would be the last day before the 1st day of the 7th month. Man has no control of the sun's proximity to the moon or over the clouds blocking the possible view. Therefore, this Hebrew Idiom is to help us understand that God/YHWH has full control over this date and no man can know the hour or the day. If one is using the Hillel II calendar and say it is to be in unity and we have no Sanhedrin, they were right that at times past. We now have people living in the land of Israel who report when the moon is sighted by two witnesses. Sometimes it is on day 29 and other times it is on day 30. Can we practice/rehearse the sighting of the new moon in Israel?

Lev 23:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
Lev 23:25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Convocation = Strong's
H4744
מקרא
miqrâ'
mik-raw'
From H7121; something called out, that is, a public meeting (the act, the persons, or the palce); also a rehearsal: - assembly, calling, convocation, reading.

Will this future Yom Teruah be the day we see Jesus/Yeshua in the clouds and are raised up to meet Him in the clouds or will this be the day Jesus/Yeshua sets foot on Mount of Olives?

If that is true, then we have a general set hour and day to WATCH for and REHEARSE. I'm opposed to using the Hillel II calendar, but that does not mean YHWH is opposed. Just look at October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel. Netanyahu locked down Israel on March 25, 2020. Exactly 1290 days later was October 6/7, 2023. On the Hillel II calendar this date was Shimini Azeret/Last Great Eighth Day/22nd day of the 7th month and after the 7 days of Sukkot.

NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY OR HOUR, A HEBREW IDIOM referring to the first day of the 7th Hebrew month. Jesus often spoke in parables but also spoke His current day lingo/ie Hebrew idioms that everyone who kept the LORD's Feasts would understand. If you keep the LORD's Feasts, you might have the same understanding about Yom Teruah/Feast of Trumpets - 1st day of the 7th month. Now days many people use the man-made Hillel II calendar to know when they are going to have Yom Teruah and do not go by the sighting of the new moon. So, IMO, Hebrew Roots folks are being deceived when using man-made calendars like Hillel II calendar. Hebrew Calendar or Torah Calendar. Here is a calendar based on the sighting of the new moon and the barley is ripe. 2020-2045-02072025.pdf

NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY OR HOUR, A HEBREW IDIOM | FaithWriters

"Yom Teruah.: The Day of The Trumpet Blast
One of the seven Moedim of Yahweh (Divine Appointments or Feasts) is called the Yom Teruah. It is also referred to as Rosh Hashanah or the Feast of Trumpets. Of the seven moedim, this one is the only one that doesn’t have an exact starting time. This moed begins only when two witnesses see the edge of the moon and report their sighting to the Sanhedrin. This requirement introduces slight variable time to it’s inception. The Jews celebrate what is supposed to be the first day of the seventh month, Tishri, (Leviticus 23:23-25) over a two-day period because it is “the day no one knows the day or hour.” For this very reason, Yom Teruah was, and still is, referred to as “the moed that no one knows the day or hour of!” "
Interesting. Thank you.

“I and my Father are one.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, (That’s who Jesus is )

justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

….So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16, 19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:5-11‬ ‭KJV‬

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭42:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So then

God was manifest in the flesh, (That’s who Jesus is not a different being but the same spiritual being in another form manifest in the flesh as a man on earth )

We should accept the son as the father because the son is God our creator manifest in the flesh of a man to beaming us and call us to repentance and belief in him

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

after jesus died he returned to the glory he’s always had beforehand and after

“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:4-5‬ ‭

“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭20:28-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I and my Father are one.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:30‬ ‭

“If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:7-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We can’t physically see the father in heaven but we could physically see Jesus who is God manifest in the flesh , and by this onow and see the father in heaven who had come to dwell
Among his people in thier form and become thier high priest and intercessor

I think the question is Does it make God a different person because he is manifest in the flesh of a man ? Or is it the same God manifest in a visible form fulfilling a different role which man had failed ourselves to fulfill ? I personally believe Jesus is God who was born as one of us on earth in order to intercede and save his creation

That he is One God who was manifest to us in his Son jesus which is why the gospel of Jesus Christ is so important it’s the true understanding of our God so we can know him

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Yes, for in Jesus dwells the fulness of the Godhead. Col. 2:9

If you think of the baptism of Jesus, we read:

“When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, "You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased."” (Lu 3:21-22 NKJV)

So we have Jesus Himself being baptised, the Holy Spirit descending upon Him in the form of a dove, and the voice of God the Father saying, "You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased." So The Holy Spirit was not the same as Jesus Christ or the Father. Three "Persons", one God.
The Holy Spirit is God...
"And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." Luke 1:35

Yes, that is what I meant, that the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God. The Son was being baptised, the Father's voice came from heaven and the Holy Spirit descended on to Jesus in the form of a dove.

Yes, for in Jesus dwells the fulness of the Godhead. Col. 2:9
Fullness of the godhead bodily

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28:18-20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭19:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭22:16‬ ‭

“But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭
