That seems backwards to me. If a guy had to many male friends and little to no female, I would think he was gay.

I have way more female friends then guy friends. I like women.

Now if you said a guy has a youtube channel on applying makeup , does hair tips, and knows how moisturize properly I would say yes, he may not be looking for a girlfriend.

I do however, find it quite annoying to have that mistake made among friends. Simply put, I'm one of those people who assumes that a guy and girl that I know that are friendly with each other are nothing more than friends until one of them blatantly tells me that they are a couple. Outside of that, it is none of my business, and definitely not my place to pry into their business. I've seen good friendships ruined because of the constant prying from outsiders.

I've seen good relationships ruined due to constant prying from outsiders. None of my own but, some people can't keep their noses to themselves.
 
If I may be serious for 10.4 seconds:

I would like to thank Ugly and Once for sharing there personal stories on dealing with the issues that I tried( I guess I should`ve tried harder.) referencing to in my first post. I probably should`ve shared one of my own personal stories at the beginning of this topic so some people would`ve understood what I was trying to share with them. Friendships can be lost over what some might consider to be a lame reason.
 
I see what some of you are saying, but I'm not really sure I agree with your viewpoint. I could just be reading into some things wrong though.

Here is how I see it:

If I'm in a solid friendship/relationship with someone, I believe I have control over who I let interfere with it or not..at least on my side of things. If the other person lets someone interfere, and that person decides they can't continue with the friendship/relationship, that's out of my hands. It's their choice. In which case, I'd realize the friendship probably wasn't THAT solid to begin with.
If I'm truly committed to someone, noone is getting in my way. The person trying to interfere would be the one I wouldn't want in my life.
If both are truly serious about the relationship, and feel at peace with God about it, it's your own fault if you let anyone else get in the way of it. Why give that control to someone else?

*Disclaimer for the above. Pay attention to the "and feel at peace with God about it". I know there are cases when God can speak to us, or people around us and tell us that we shouldn't be with someone as a friend or more. We might not want to hear that or accept it. To me, that's not interference. That's wise counsel..assuming it is Godly..

Im not to concerned with what other people think or say. If they wanna think im dating someone when im not. Who gives a crap. I don't let other people control who i do or do not date. If anyone starts to get in my business i tell them one time to leave it alone, then thats it. If it happens again i just cut off contact with him or her. Those types of people are like poison.
That being said, i would only date someone that felt the same way about this as i do. I have no tolerance for drama, and i have no tolerance for someone that wants to start it with their prying.
 
I like having guy friends and I don't care what anyone thinks about it.
 
I did realize some folks on CC joke with others about people "flirting" with each other in threads and chat rooms. A...N....N....O....Y....I....N....G!!! :D
 
Why do you care what other people think of you?
It is your life. Enjoy it!

And i don't have that kinda rule in my life. I have some guy-friends. And we are just friends.
