Some of my favorite family times are just the simple things. Like taking a half hour walk before supper with my son. I like to get a little exercise after sitting at a desk for 10 hours. And I get the added bonus of one-on-one time with my six year old son.

When we get to the sidewalk in front of our house I always ask him, "which way do you want to go today?" Sometimes he'll choose to walk straight ahead towards the city park two blocks away. Sometimes we go to the left, towards the big grassy triangle a couple blocks away. And sometimes we go to the right towards a cemetery about three blocks away. It's a Catholic cemetery with a large statue of Jesus on a cross with the two Marys at his feet. I like the cemetery because it often starts a conversation between me and my son about God or Jesus.

Like I said, some of my favorite family times are just the simple things.
 
For Simple Things, Big Plans, Money, Sunny Skies: Not required.
Just appreciation for God's blessings. Love. Family. Time.
 
My wife and I enjoy going for walks and bike rides. We don't mind keeping it simple. :)

Cemeteries are peaceful and great reminders of what truly matters in this world. Where will I be when I become fertilizer and food for the worms.

I do not see a thing wrong with walks in the cemetary, it is a very peaceful & beautiful place to walk, anybody that thinks otherwise, may have a problem.
 
Ha ha! Yeah, a cemetery. I hadn't really ever thought about walking around in a cemetery until I moved to my current home several years back. But it's at the end of a dead end street near my home. And I have to cut through it to continue on to places where we walk. /("dead end street". There's a pun in there somewhere. lol)
 
The cemetery isn't for children...

it's for hot dates.

put Her FIRST, after your Lord and Saviour, in your priorities/plans...
