In the first book of John,the Apostle clearly stated that there are sins not leading to death and sin leading to death.
(1 John 5:16) says; If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not lead to death,he should pray and God will give him life,for those whose sin does not lead to death.There is sin leading to death and I do not say he should pray about that.
So my question is what is the sin that leads to death??

My view would be: unrepentant wilfull sin leads to death. Obviously without Jesus wages of sin is death anyway that goes without saying.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.. Which is attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to a demon..
 
I think its a reference to the Old Testament to sins that were punished by death (adultery, witchcraft, rape etc).

Without taking time to study all the relevant scriptures, I believe you will find the word “death” in the Bible sometimes symbolizes suffering. Sin always leads to suffering for the person that commits the sin.
 
All sin leads to death. Physical death is the end result of sin. There are sins that do not contribute to the advancement of sin in a mans life.

It is difficult to list sin that is not unto death but for example buying a lottery ticket is probably not going to lead to death. Drinking too much or smoking could well lead to a premature death. Just a some examples to consider.
