A Joyful Hymn Of Love,
Nothing comes closer to drawing us into the Spirit
so quickly as singing "How Great Thou Art". Even
if we've heard it or any other hymn a thousand or
two thousand times, it moves a Spiritual chord in
us. Words are preached and words are forgotten
as time goes by but fifty years later, I recall the first
hymn I ever heard even though that experience
wasn't in church. It awakened me to whatever God
may be. It was a long way from there before I came
to Him earnestly. I may be the only one but hearing
a hymn was God's way of saying to me "hey I'm
here". So let's keep singing those songs those Godly
songs and let them open up our hearts. At least if it
doesn't help someone, it is no likely to hurt them
either.
