Yea, shes turning 15 soon and I think she may be starting that stage. :( but I pray she doesn't.
Sorry to say they most all do go through the stage....sometimes longer than what I went through...just know it is normal...even though painful at times.

Im not sure if you really believe that. But personally I don't like when people say that He is.

It's The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit not The Husband, etc lol

what do you think I believe? I've always thought it a bit weird when people say they are married to Jesus

Idk what you believe that's why I said idk if you believe that. I do think one can be committed to following Jesus while waiting to be married but I guess I can see that taken as being married to Jesus? Who knows, it's all baloney.

God is our Father so He is our provider, I guess some people refer to Jesus, his son, as their husband, I have heard some some widows saying hes like a husband . the church is betrothed to Jesus as his bride so I think thats where people get it from.

I dont have much advice as such but I know a lot of single parents and the thing is to keep close to God which is the best advice I can give and He will help you face each day.

as He is our Father who better to ask on how to raise your children...? they already belong to Him anyway.

Hi @VineyardsOfEngedi, I'm sure you'll be a great parent since you already have Jesus in your life, I was raised by my mom alone with no support from my dad, So I will based this on my life, It would be easier financially if the father will help support you, I know this can be complicated, maybe you wanted to do it by yourself or the other party doesn't want to help BUT if everyone agrees this would be a great help for you and your child/children in the long run, my mother did not have time for us bec she had to work to support us too, so in the process we did not develop a close relationship with her as we grow older, when teenage life comes that would be the hard part, teens can be very difficult to handle and to correct esp if there were no guidance from the parents, and we're not christians at that time, I am not generalizing BUT there is a tendency for the kids to be neglected if the mother is also doing a job that the father is supposed to do, also from the children's side/perspective, make sure that they know what is going on around and explain to them nicely what happened because at some point they would want to know, most important is to pray together with the kids and be open to one another, the assurance of love from both parents are very significant esp when the kids are still young. BUT in the case that the father can not provide, and is not in the picture at all then just make time for the kid/s, be honest and truthful and pray together, let them know that they are loved even with a single parent, everything will do fine as long as you have God in your life. I hope this helps. God bless!
