Sinner or saint? which are we are we? for we cannot be both you are either of the light or of the darkness. One thing I struggle with more than anything else is being able to see myself as God does it is so easy to see everything we have done wrong every sin every flaw every sin we tend to see the darkness more than we do the light.
However this simply is not true, people will call themselves sinners going before God in filthy rags believing this is true and being humble yet What does God say of us?
1 Peter 2:9-10

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

There is a difference between being humble and just putting ourselves down I learned this by looking at Jesus he is the king of kings the Lord of Lords the creator of the universe yet he lowered himself to serve us, he knew who he was he knew his position and status and never once claimed to be anything less but acted in service, this amazed me a king of royal blood The God of the universe served us commoners the humbleness in that just astonished me this to me is what real humbleness is knowing who are knowing where you stand yet you lower yourself to serve as a servant, it infuriates me when I see people in Christ do this to themselves because the enemy has lied to them and I just want to punch him in his face for it.

We no longer need to go before the throne in rags but in royal clothing because through him he has declared us pure righteous and holy saints kings and priests a chosen and beloved people of the light, yes we will still fall and will still mess up and this is when the enemy will attack and make us doubt we are anything else but we rest in his grace we are covered and the debt has been paid in full. I know I am hypocritical for saying all this since I myself struggle greatly with this but I wrote all of this for everyone else to know understand and claim the truth, it is exhuasting always seeing ourselves like this there is no life in it and just pulls us down and it is my deepest hope and prayer that we learn to see and live what God says of us not what the enemy does or what we do, I believe once we do and we claim it we will not be held down by any chains what so ever that we will walk in his spirit love and light more than we ever dreamed
