Well, I suppose you could start by finding a charismatic church and attending it...........as this is where the concept comes from.

Now, not sure you will enjoy the experience or not................but since you are seeking to experience such an idea/event, you could start there.

You can receive a miracle without being slain in the Spirit. It's not good to seek the experience, only the One who gives it.

There is a power manifested from the Holy Spirit that can sometimes be felt upon our flesh to various degrees.

Sometimes we have experienced it as a wash of peace at certain times.
Sometimes we feel it as being carried.
Sometimes we feel weak under it - and sometimes we can hardly stand.
Sometimes we feel it as a great embrace that we need to lean into.
And sometimes we feel this power as something that we want to rest in, and lose ourselves into (fall back into).

It is all good - and yet it is the same Holy Spirit touching each of us in unique ways as he chooses (and as we are open to it).

Sassylady says it so well. Seek the One Who is present with us.

This is not what Jesus wants for you. Iam sorry to say that but Jesus sets your free and where is His Holy Spirit there is freedom. What you are asking, is against Jesus's will. The book of Acts is only the begining of the history of the church of Jesus and there is no such thing what you are asking. Read Romans please, and pray before you take any step. If you need more information i can help you with that.
