It is snowing in Vermont right now. I am sooo ready for winter to LEAVE!! :)
well, you are going to have a long wait!! down here in the south, we feel the same way about summer, with all the 95 degrees and 70% humidity days.

I grew up in Detroit and lived for many years in Lansing. I took a tour once at the Kellogg's plant in Battle Creek. The thing about winter in Michigan is that is last for over 6 months. I spent the last 8 years in Maine so I am all set with the snowfall. I will be wintering in Clearwater, Florida this winter. The only ice that I will see will be in my glass of cranberry juice.

i found the most unpleasant aspect of winter in western MI to be the gloominess.

in NYS, we have lots of clear, sunny days in winter, but it seems to be always
cloudy in MI? (what's that about, Lake Michigan?? lol)
and last winter i bet you could have walked to Wisconsin! (brrrr!)

i will be thinking of you and JL, sittin' on the beach with your ice.
(mix some OJ with that cranberry and think of me. :) )

I do wish we had snow, :) just very cold, windy and icy here.
For some reason I have never outgrown my childhood love for snow, the world covered in white, making everything beautiful, and the fun, well, somethings we just nver outgrow. :)

God bless
pickles

WHAT? Where's those days hidden? All I can see is a 27 day lol.

Got a fair amount of snow here in Ohio yesterday. It is still around today. I like the snow, but wow it got really cold really fast here! Still have to adjust to that.

It actually hasn't been snowing much in Chicago. It's just been cold! I've been in the Chi for 10 years from California.

(I Know I'm crazy!)
