it would be better if you took time to study the text you quoted ... in the Hebrew language it does not say to kill a sorceress but rather that they not be permitted to make a living...
Thank you for this insight!

it's there if you want to look.
hang gliding isn't in the scriptures...
The problem I see is many who argue against the Sabbath do so like a pharisee. Imposing rules that are not there. They take the scripture and interpret it making it legalistic. while they themselves do not lift a finger in that direction they impose harsh rules that they think are bible based on those who suggest it should be kept.
Its weird to say the least that people who think themselves free would impose legalism on those who honour Jesus.
it would be better if you took time to study the text you quoted ... in the Hebrew language it does not say to kill a sorceress but rather that they not be permitted to make a living... sometimes study into the original language can shed light on a given verse. and also it needs to be noted that in those days and times they were living under a theocracy (God was king) however it is not so now, we must live peaceably among all men where it be possible , even in our
Saviors time the jewish leaders were limited by the roman authority so this claim and the logic behind it is flawed in its nature and content
I can't believe this is even under discussion in a Christian forum. Christians believe that God made man in his image, including man's mind, and man's mind has contrived a way to safely emulate the flight of birds. They jump off Poo Poo Point here in King County, Washington, and if there is a God, then he's gotta be smiling.

any rule about it would be man-made, or an interpretation.
I'm sure you know that, and I believe you're being evasive.
Ok, hypothetical question.
If you went hang-gliding on the Sabbath and everything went well,
What else would you do that day, to honor that day above the other 6?
I'd say Thank you Lord for this Sabbath day!

so what makes them non christian? for following Gods Sabbath?Put out by a non-Christian cult
so what makes them non christian? for following Gods Sabbath?
and what about the biggest and oldest cult there is, the cathlic church?
The link explains why.
I still do not see why you call them non christian.
only God can decide. we know this.
I am not here to debate hang gliding, but you can't let it be up to each person.
each one will do what is right in his own eyes. historically, this doesn't end well.
Then that says much about yourself and your understanding of Christianity.
